Is it possible to take a already made objects (from the game) and flip it upside down?

I am interested in taking a animated objects from the game (base game I believe) flipping it upside down and using the animation but switching what it is used for. How would I go about doing this?

Yeah, good point. id like to do this too. is like to put the moving stage lights on the ceiling.

Nerdiella, I'm not sure if you're specifically talking about creating a new object, but I know of something that 'may' work for fletchers http://virtualartisan.blogspot.com.au/2013/01/decorators-best-friend.html that would probably allow you to flip the object upside down and raise it to the ceiling in the game, but i'm not sure if the animations would work properly :)
