Help Please! Can't make a new family?

I have the Sims 2 Double Deluxe and when I went into Create a Family, the sim appeared behind the window in CAS instead on the platform thingy... Then I installed Fun for Pets Collection and the problem stopped. :bunny: Then I went in game the next day and the same problem came instead the sim was outside of the window spinning :blink: :faceslap:

The same happens if I try to create a pet but since pets are shorter, you can't see them.

Please help! :help:

Try going through the game problem faq (help menu > sims 2).

I tried... Didn't see anything about that. And I tried without CC and still didn't work.

If what you did was skim the FAQ, looking for an obvious answer to the problem, you haven't done the FAQ. Removing CC and testing without it is only one of several things to do, if you want to solve this.
