Mouse wont work sims 3 MAC.

Hi i just installed sims and all expansions up to showtime on my mac today. It is currently up to date. But for some reason, my mouse wont work. I see the cursor, i can move it, and i can highlight things, but for some reason i cant click on anything. And its not like the game froze, cause when i press f5 the menu comes up but i cant click on anything. I tried 3 different mouses. I cant left click or right click. i am on a mac, is there any settings i can change maybe? Also maybe this will help but when i click sometimes whatevers on the desktop quickly comes up. Like If i was on Facebook, and i turned on sims 3, when i click i could see my Facebook page for a quick second and then it would go back to the game. I already uninstalled and installed it and the same thing happened. I dont think its the mouse because the mouse has never done this. Also it works on the sims 3 startup menu. It just wont work while its in the game.



*** ive also closed all programs and it still does the whole facebook thing, but this time it only shows the desktop.

No i never have.

What mouse model is this, wired/wireless/bluetooth? All the mouse you tested is of the same model? Or some are trackpads, etc?
What OSX version?
What base game version? Game Help:Patch_Table
Are you playing in Fullscreen or Windowed (CMD + Return)?
If on Lion, is the Mac's Mouse setting still on that backward/upside-down scroll setting?

This is the first time playing Sims 3 on this Mac? Can we see specs?Post your system specs:
