Okay, I've searched and searched...
A few months ago, I read about a tip for forcing windows to "snap" to the wall...this is great in basements.
I have added an alcove to a basement, put in windows, and they are letting in light, but you can still see the wall in the glass - it is not snapping correctly.
I have moveobjects on so that I do not get the ceiling too low message. I also tried to place the window with constrain floor elevation cheat too.
But someone here mentioned a little trick for this situation and I can't remember it! Ack!
Does anyone remember this little trick? My memory says something like place something in front of the window, like a sink or something, delete the window and then undo the delete. Something like that?
