Bringing sims back from the dead?

I've seen some people who have brought Skip Broke, Darleen Dreamer, Michael Batchlor etc. back from the dead, I have simPE but i can't figure out how to do it, and it doesn't work with the resurrection phone. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

same here,i have worked out how to bring them back,and skip shows up but i cant find him in the neighbour hood

I have found that if the sim dies from old age you can not bring them back.

There are quite a few threads on here explaining how to do it. You need to use SimPE (see Modding Tools for info about it). If you can't find what you need, email me or send a private message and I'll explain it all to you. Don't want to go through it all here because it's on the site so many times already.

And yes, you can bring back Sims who die of old age with the Resurrector thingy. The ones you can't bring back are those without character data and those who are unlinked (i.e., don't have a gravestone). Don Lothario died of old age in my game before I installed the expansion and one of his sons brought him back with no problem whatsoever. It doesn't even have to be family, just anyone who had the person on their friends list.
