Noob needs help with meshes!!!!!

Hi guys! Sorry bothering you with this but I've tried to dwld a couple of sims & meshes lately and well.... only the sims that come in sims2pack or .rar are working. I can't get the others. And I can't get the meshes installed neither. :confused:
Could anyone help?!?
