Why won't she stay for the night?

One of my teenage sims girlfriends refuses to spend a night at his home whenever he is asking her (the others don't). The only reason why she refuses which I could think of, is because that she is an enemy of his father who also lives in the house. Anyone having had the same problem?

i think she has to have all of her needs met before she accepts something like that...kind of like with engagment and marriage--if theyre not happy theyre going to say no...of course, i havent done the stay the night thing for a long time so i dont remember exactly.
