Problem With Sim Creator

When I try to make a sim, the game crashes.

Which Sim creator are you talking about? Body Shop or Create-A-Sim? Body Shop is a separate utility that comes with the game. Create-A-Sim is a utility that you can access once the game loads. If you're asking about Create-A-Sim, are you talking about the Neighborhood one or the University one?

Have you changed the default background? That can cause problems.

Move your downloads folder to your desktop and try the game. This way you can tell if you have a bad download. If so, you will need to add downloads back, a few at a time, until you find the bad one. Not fun, I know, but the only way to check downloads.

To make it a little faster, you can right click an empty space inside the downloads folder and click arrange by date modified. Remove the downloads up to the date the problem started. Good luck!
