Malcolm in the Middle: The Wilkerson's House. Split Level 2BR, 1.5 BA No CC

8 Attachment(s)
This is the home in which the stars of the show 'Malcolm in the Middle' live. I made it using my own knowledge of the show, screenshots and a house plan I found on http://www.malcolminthemiddle.co.uk.

This house includes:
2 double bedrooms (+ nursery extension in master bedroom)
1 family bathroom
1 guest toilet
Reception room
Kitchen/breakfast area
Utility room
Family room/dining area
1-car garage
Front and back yard/garden (minimum landscaping - the sand pit is decorative)

It's built on a 30x40 lot and is S71,046 furnished, S47,486 unfurnished.

It's as accurate as the base game content allowed me to be which I think is pretty darn accurate if I do say so myself. I chose not to use CC because I don't think the stuff I need is available and I don't know how to make it myself (yet). There's a couple of obvious differences like there's a fence where there should be a half wall in the kitchen (tried split level technique, just looked weird). Also I haven't included the columns on the front porch for similar reasons.

Other Information:
The house can be found at 12334 Cantura St, Studio City, CA 91604.
The Wilkersons are: Hal (Dad), Lois(Mum), Francis (older, moved out), Reece, Malcolm, Dewey & Jaimie Wilkerson.

I love recreating houses from TV shows but this is the first I've ever uploaded so please leave thanks or feedback (+/-) if you download

Lot Size: 3x4
Lot Price: S47,486 - S71,046

I gotta admit; making sims isn't really my forte. I made a dummy Hal, Lois, Reece and Malcolm to mimic some of the screenshots but if you look closely they are nothing like the actual characters, lol. They are just generic sims made in the right age group with similar hair and kinda similar 'tastes in clothes'. Glad you liked it though

???

When did they get a BMW M6?

Good job, almost looks like the real one.

I actually made a Wilkerson family a couple of weeks back but as of yet they have no house, so this is just amazingly perfect timing! Thanks so much, it looks really good.

Maybe you and pyroman2 should talk (see above comments)

This is really nice. It's really fun to make houses from TV-show, especially when you can actually see the likeness. Good job!

My Mom and I used to LOVE that show! We would race home from wherever we were just to see it. I remember on Saturdays there was a marathon on Global, with 8-10 episodes that we would watch. My favourite was the one where Craig got a helper monkey, and it tried to kill him :P

Thanks for bringing back fond memorys, and great job on the house!

Wow, it's been a long time since I had a reply to this, lol. It really needs updating/re-doing now that there's more things like a real half wall for the kitchen and maybe replace the entrance room with a stage instead of a foundation but I just don't have the time

greatforce 12th Aug 2011 09:51 AM

I am busy making a Wilkerson house too, but mine will be for The Sims 2.
I will be using the floorplan found on www.malcolminthemiddle.co.uk.
And I will make it as realistic as possible.

missroxor 14th Sep 2011 07:05 AM

Yep, that's the same one I used Let me know how it goes Mine could be more accurate now that there's more functions for TS3 (half walls, stages etc) but I won't be updating it.

Oooh AWESOME! I loooved the show as a kid ( and the mum is scarily a lot like mine lol, I used to be kinda freaked out by that) and recently started watching it again... I still laugh at the show so hard, but at different jokes now that I've grown up. It's so great, and this house is going to be a ton of fun to play in!

MissEwy 2nd Nov 2011 01:22 PM

I am French and I love this series. I watch it every day on TV, and I did not know that someone did the house in the sims. It'll be really cool to play there, thank you! It's beautiful work. Sorry for my bad english. :D
