This mod is amazing! Works perfectly around my home to stop people going into others bedrooms, However I'm still having an issue at the bakery / retail lot whereas customers still enter the employee's area? Is there anyway to fix this?

OK, the screenshot of the mod install made it clear, you've got version 1b of the mod. The customer/employee locks were not added until version 2. Uninstall that version of the mod and get the newer v2a download.

Oh I am a dumb bear! Thank you so much, and sorry for the hassle I'm gonna install the version 2 now. Even with version 1b, it already made my sims experience much much better, so thanks again!

Is anyone experiencing setting it to filter out say teens/child or even YA's from entering say the parent's bedroom that they can still walk right on in? I've been trying to lock out anyone who isn't adult and elder and for some reason it doesn't work. I haven't tested this with anything else, but I noticed they can still walk in as if the filter wasn't on. I was wondering if that was a bug or if it just happens that I'm the lucky one that gets to experience that! lol

Regarding the bug mentioned above (post #433), I'm having trouble getting this to happen while debugging the mod. It is remotely possible that a bug in my "Wakeup Early" mod was causing the problem as the bug in that mod was related to the first sim on the sim picker not being on the current lot when the early wakeup time notification would appear. At least, I can't get the bug to happen any more after trying ten, fifteen, maybe twenty times in a row. It's either a rare problem (most likely case), or it knows I'm watching now and refuses to happen (most paranoid case), or it was fixed by the Wakeup Early fix (possible, dunno).

In any event, the update to the Wakeup Early mod definitely should be downloaded if you are using that.

Great mod! But can you please make it so that I can keep out specific sims? Keeping out BOTH my sim's psycho aunt and loving mom is just not right. (Is this too much to ask?) :3

I have been waiting for something like this ever since sims 4 came out. Do you think you could look into adding a feature similar to what was in sims 3 where you can lock everyone out except yourself? That would really come in handy for townhomes that people build. Thank you again for this amazing mod!!

Thank you so much. I looked for a door lock mod just a few days before you uploaded this and was so disappointed that there wasn't any. Now all you need is a lock to specify which sims in the household can go through the door.

Just some feedback: my mean and evil adult sims managed to bypass the age lock filter on their children's door in order to destroy their dollhouse.

I've heard some reports that age filters don't seem to be working properly, but every age I've tested is working fine. I'm wondering if the problem people are having is that they interpret the age locks as being what sim can pass through the door, but it is the sim age that is locked out. So, to make a lock that only children can pass through, you'd want to set the lock for every age except children. I realize this is kind of a pain to do, but some usability enhancements are planned for these kinds of things. I've received some excellent suggestions on making the menus easier to use, but these will require a lot of work to implement and I've actually started working on locking out individual sims/list of sims which seems to be a desperately desired feature.

If confusion over how the age filters work isn't the issue, then I'm curious what is happening for the users having problems with the age locks. Are the other lock types working (for instance, gender locks) OK? If it's not working right I'd definitely like to fix that if I can figure out what's going wrong. Just to be sure, I downloaded the copy that I uploaded and installed that instead of my test version and all the age locks work perfectly fine for me. Not sure whether to put a frowny face or happy face for that...

Sorry they aren't working for you, can you describe the issue you're having. Please read some of the earlier posts and make sure the mod is installed properly. The retail filters, like all the filters, set which class of sim is locked OUT, not allowed to pass through, perhaps that is the issue?

I realize it's to lock OUT the specified age group of sim. I'm trying to lock out everything except for adult and elder and while it says it's locking out child, teen, and young adult.. it's not unfortunately. They still waltz in like they own the place I'll just take it like I'm one of the lucky ones it's not working for Which is funny because version 1.0 worked just fine before the patch
