This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Little Hal the Servo was created for one of Garden of Shadows' monthly themes. With GoS being offline, though, I wanted to upload him to another place, so the sim children wouldn't be deprived of their beloved propaganda... I mean, educational toy.

Hal is made of child-friendly cotton, non-toxic rubber and paint, and wood. He contains no sharp or small enough to swallow elements - and has, in fact, a lower polycount than the basegame teddy bear!

There's some animation boo-boos, the biggest being this one:

I couldn't figure out how to fix this, unfortunately. It's visible only for a moment during the "whack against floor" animation. Other than that, children will hold him by a non-existent foot, and chew on non-existent ears, and their hands go through the eye sometimes. Those were all unavoidable, though.

The object was modeled, mapped, textured, and joint-assigned by me, so if you'd like to reuse mesh parts or alter them (making him a deco object, making him bigger, so on), credit would be much appreciated.
It's basegame-friendly, can be found in Miscellaneous> Children, and costs 60$. It has no recolorable subsets.

Polygon Counts:
1292 polys
3876 vertices

Additional Credits:
CG Textures for the fabric and wood overlays
Lilith-sims for skin default, Simgaroop for hair

He is so freakin' cute! Like seriously. Amazing texture, and off-the-charts cuteness.

I got him when you first posted him on GoS but never said thanks, so - THANK YOU!

I got it immediately from GOS too, it's so adorable! One thing though, my sims couldn't sell it on community lots because it isn't categorized there. I fixed it for myself, but maybe it's an idea to make it officially available for (OFB) stores?
(It would be nice if Hal could have different coloured eyes, like the colours supernatural Servo's get. Hal is already pretty awesome though, no real need to change that if it's not fun to do.)

...I can't believe I forgot about that. *facepalm* Thanks for letting me know! I'll try to update the file to be available on community lots, too.
I *am* planning on making supernatural versions of him, but I've got so many different cc projects going on, I don't know when will I even find the time! It's definitely on the horizon, though.

By the way, since I'm making a comment: thank you for your kind words, everyone! I didn't want to clutter up the comments section, so I didn't reply to everyone individually, but I wanted to say that I appreciate every comment. <3

Goodie, I found this again (forgot to bookmark 1st time I found it-ack). This is really cute. I will be using this instead of the maxis bear that I've never really liked. I will also be able to see this better (eye problem here). Will enjoy using this in my game. Appreciate your sharing this. Thanks bunches :-)

Thank you! It's nice to have a plush toy for my Sims that isn't a bear or doll (a traditional doll, anyway).
