This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
A new project called mexican Flair is finish! I never took so long for creating a house in ts ever. i worked about a week and noticed that my computer is pensioner now :D
i decided that this lot should be a residential area, because i thought a community one would be weird. It's perfect for big familys or a apartment sharing community, because it's really expensive I hope you enjoy this small village!

you will need World Adventures and the new Ambitions EP to get the result as in the pictures.

Filename - Tip: You can click the magnifying glass to see the archive contents Size Downloads Date
Mexican Flair.rar 2.34 MB 13,910 11th Aug 2010
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Very beautiful. Here's a photo of a town in Mexico (historical town of GUANAJUATO), where the homes are painted bright colors exactly like in your Sims village: http://viestiphoto.photoshelter.com...0000uFYdeFZ4klg

This is... amazing. Jawdropping. Creative, beautiful, authentic. I've been to Mexico several times, and it's so incredibly similar. There are so many genius ideas you've used for this lot you've blown me away. The walls, the stairs, the roof bits, everything. Definitely deserves to be featured!

Very nice! It has some nice architecture, and it's nicely decorated :3

You know, though I didn't read what the erased-post-guy wrote, I must say sometimes it's hard to notice the intention of the creation, but this is a noble intention.

I'm mexican, and though it was already clarified that not all mexicans live in houses like that in some regions they are more common than others, and who cares anyway, everyone knows this is a game

Anyway, it's pretty, and that's what counts, lol xD

EDIT: whitewater: In a lot of touristic locations there are more houses like that, because they attract tourists, though in lot of them there still live people. I have a friend that lives in a house with decoration like in high-end-loft stuff

Wow in contrast to others here, I'm Mexican and these houses looks astoundingly.. MEXICAN! I'm surprised how exact you got it (except for the hay lmbo)..i thought you were Mexican lol and I just love the sacks of food haha Also this looks like the central part of mexico lol the north is uglier haha and this reminds me of the many novelas(soap operas in Spanish) that I watch heehee. I want to get ambitions because of this D:!! ahhh great job Shady as always, I adore your work! much love, thali <3
