This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
A new project called mexican Flair is finish! I never took so long for creating a house in ts ever. i worked about a week and noticed that my computer is pensioner now :D
i decided that this lot should be a residential area, because i thought a community one would be weird. It's perfect for big familys or a apartment sharing community, because it's really expensive I hope you enjoy this small village!

you will need World Adventures and the new Ambitions EP to get the result as in the pictures.

Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Hi I love this place in fact I love most of your work and I'm trying to move a family in here. So I was connecting the buildings you know with little walkways but I couldn't recreate the angles on the roofs. Could you please explain how you slanted the roof/floor tiles. Thanks hgreco

The lot is amazing, I'm in love! So many people said it's not like the mexican houses, but I think it's more like their culture than their houses. So, it is, somehow, mexican. I'm brazilian and I saw lots with the name "Brazilian House" that has nothing to do with us, our houses or even our culture. But I don't mind, actually. If the lot is pretty, then it's okay. If the lot is pretty and has something to do with the culture, then it's great! So, I really think this lot is brilliant, as much as the trophy from being featured.

I live in a small town less than an hour from Albuquerque and a little more than an hour from Santa Fe. This may not be authentic Mexican, but it certainly is New Mexican, and would fit into either city beautifully. If anybody is offended by this lot, they are just way too sensitive.

I spent a lot of time studying in Oaxaca, Oaxaca, Mexico, and I'm not sure why people were so offended - this reminds me a lot of many of the neighborhoods I visited. While it might not be the norm in all places, Mexico is a huge country and the architecture seems to change - sometimes dramatically - from state to state. This is a beautiful lot, thank you for making it!
