Steampunk Ahoy!

Requires World Adventures and Ambitions
Built with version 4.0.87
Uses Sims Store CC and 2 other CC items

Steampunk Ahoy! is a classic steampunk themed lot for your insane, genius, inventor, scientist (engineering types) Sims. It features an open plan dining/lounge and kitchen, 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, 1 office area, deck with telescope and gramophone. There is also a smaller building out the back which houses the entrance to the spacious basement, which has plenty of rooms for work stations, extra bedrooms, storage for gems and other collectables and or junk. There is also room in the garden for a vegetable patch if your geeky Sim is that way inclined

You might notice small protrusions through the first floor of the house, they are from the chinese wagons underneath, they will not interfere with your Sims' walking routes/pathing/access to things. The fog emitters can be removed if you don't want the look of "steam" streaming down onto the ground from those mega engines mounted on the back of the house lol. The house itself was based on the one in the picture below, but as usual I deviated from the original so that I could fit living space into it and used a colour scheme that looked "steampunkish".

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Initially I was just going to squeal my amazement and move on, but that was before I had a chance to look at this lot ingame. H.O.N.E.Y! Obviously, there are a great number of extremely talented lot designers throughout the sims community who have created extraordinary works of art, so players are used to pretty high levels of brilliance, but this, this is just sheer unparalelled genius. Words fail me.

Then I took a gander at your other lots. My god, I'm going to download every last blessed one. And wear out my computer playing them. Thank you so much Ninotchka!!!! No pressure, seriously, do whatever the heck you want in future, but whoa, WOW -- thank you for what you have done, ALL your lots look equally fantastic.

Btw, did you mention the basement in the description? That's very helpful for this lot.

Incredible, even for its uniqueness itself, you also did a wonderful job on it!

Just the trompettes, that's why it's emphasised in brackets...

Thanks, I will fix those links.

Awesome! My friend is taking them for some mecha/steampunk wings I made, if we don't decide to use the ones with your lot in the upload, I'll let you see (we may not, the lot is so pretty it's kinda hard to notice the wings in the pics! haha)
