UPDATE: 3-6-2015 Unused EA Meshes as Custom Food

icarus_allsorts told me about the incompatibility between her Cook with Any Ingredient mod and my lamb ingredient. Mod edited to fix this. Please redownload.

Can't believe I'll need this many updates in just a few days for numerous stupid mistakes. Fixed incompatibility of Greek Ingredients mod.
Important Redownload!

Updated the mod to be compatible with icemunmun's recipes loaded using CCLoader. This mod now requires CCLoader. (http://modthesims.info/t/546986 )

Good day everyone
Here is my new upload (I know, it's been a long time...)

This mod adds custom food using meshes from EA cooking processes. Ever found the "berry bowl" when your Sims cook Autumn Salad? How about the pitcher of cream in Lobster Thermidor? These are examples in this mod.

- Recipes included, skill level required, ingredients:
- Forest Berry Salad, Lvl 0
1. Avornalino Grape
2. Renoit Grape
3. Strawberry

- Sashimi, Lvl 4
1. Fish (x2)

- Classic Grilled Lamb, Lvl 8
1. Lamb
2. Potato
3. Cheese

- Spiced Kimchi, Lvl 2
1. Lettuce
2. Garlic
3. Lime

- Beef and Vegetables Consomme, Lvl 7 (single serving only)
1. Steak
2. Carrot
3. Onion

- Cream of Lobster, Lvl 7 (single serving only)
1. Lobster
2. Whipped Cream
3. Onion

- Hot Baked Potatoes, Lvl 2
1. Potato
2. Chicken Breast
3. Onion

- All recipes do not require recipe books to be read before being able to be cooked.
- A new ingredient, lamb, is added, which also uses an EA mesh. It can be bought at the grocery store.
- All foods are available throughout the day.

CCLoader is required (linked above). This mod requires BlackCat's Food Overhaul (http://modthesims.info/d/479345 ) and DouglasVeiga's Strawberry Mod (http://modthesims.info/d/516243 ). This is made under Patch 1.63. Conflicts are next to non-existent.

Install as usual. However, for uninstallation, it should be better to use NRaas Master Controller to un-learn the recipe for Sims in order to avoid Cooking Skill data corruption. (Under Advanced --> Books --> Recipes)

NRaas ErrorTrap should be able to clean up the remaining problems, if any.

There is no food inside mixing bowl when cooking Cream of Lobster and Beef Consomme. Close your eyes whenever you cook these two recipes, or else you will wonder why Sims can bear to eat metal bowls. Cooking processes are entirely custom (though reusing EA meshes) and there may be some points where they look slightly odd, while switching states of the meshes.

@xtwonyx1 but seriously it has nothing to do with my mod. Please just don't blame my work on something totally irrelevant, thank you. If your sims freezes when they cook they aren't supposed to survive are they? What I can suggest for a fix, is to simply remove the cache files to start with.

I really love your mods, particularly your subway charge mod and petrol mod. I think we learn early on in life that there's no such thing as a free ride. My sims ought to have that life lesson too. I did change how much the subway costs because some of my more impoverished sims couldn't afford it, but I adore your mod ideas. I really want to tell you that because on quick glance, I saw you say something about appearing a sloppy modder or something? But I think your stuff is great. I get super excited when I you upload a new mod, so you should know you've got a big fan right here.

I'm confused by this mod, though, and haven't installed it yet because I have questions. I read in Douglas Veiga's posts that his CCLoader and strawberry mod aren't compatible? So I'm not sure how this works with both of them? I don't have his strawberry mod installed because I have CCLoader installed. I also have CinderelliMouse's mod installed, and IceMunMun's, and I LOVE them. That's actually one of the reasons why I want yours, too. If I knew literally anything about modding, I could install it without asking how to make them all compatible--or if they're all compatible. It kind of looks like they might not be? And I can't figure out how BlackCat's version is required either, since I don't think that's compatible with CCLoader either?

(Unrelated, I've been sitting on Douglas Veiga's corn mod because I'm not sure if it's compatible with the corn from the store, though I really hope it can replace it. It looks great, as does his banana tree. Not sure why simmers are able to create more realistic-looking plants than EA's paid staff....)

Hi @tamalinn thanks for your encouragement, I always thought that the mods you've mentioned are compatible (aren't they ) hence is why I use them altogether, I think I did some in-game testing and so far things were ok.

I guess I should call for @douglasveiga 's help...

Thank You for this mod!
After years of seeing the same old cooking process meshes this is definitely a nice change to my game

I hope I don't sound too pushy with this but is it possible to make some sort of new custom "Lamb Plant"? I love gardening in the game and really love this mesh but personally I don't like using the omni plant since it's kinda tedious to keep feeding it. Again sorry if this sounds too demanding.

@Katody you'll want to have some XML knowledge, and open the file with S3PE, then change the ingredient_key to one corresponding the ingredient that you have. It's really easy, you may want to DIY.
But basically, I didn't test, I don't know what will happen if you use the mods without the EPs.
Honestly the EPs aren't that important, you can easily switch out the WA grapes for Forest Berry Island with, for example, Grape and Apple...

This mod looks like it shoulg go right into my game ^_^
Can I use Cooking and Ingredients Overhaul + More Nectar Ingredients by Cinderellimouse (http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=548787 ) instead of anak_ponti's BlackCat's Food Overhaul (http://modthesims.info/d/479345 ) as Cinderellimouse took over the maintainance of Food Overhaul? Or this won't work?

@loeny, I was about to ask the same question, since I have this and Cinderellimouse mods in game, but her food tabs and some food items aren't showing in my game. I wanted to know if these mods work together?

OKAY, I got everything working, and these two mods work together for me.
