This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
Because, sometimes, it hurts.

5 scars (left/right cheek, chin, forehead, over the right eye) available under full face makeup category.

For a better look, you will have to adjust the 2 colors in order they match your skintone. With a natural skintone, it can easily be done by adjusting the slider (light/dark) for each color.

For other Skintones (blue, green, etc) you will have to adjust the color.

Playing with the color (adding or removing red tone) allows to make a recent or an older scar.

They don't replace any other mask.

Availability:
- Young Adult, Adult, Elder, male and female Sims
- All Clothing Type

Update:
2 Versions available:
- Old one, full face make-up, scars are visible under the costume category in CAS
- New one, the scars are categorized as Blush in CAS. This means yours Sims can have Scars AND Customs Eyes. Big thanks to tchoa91 for the idea .

Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Why do people want wrist scars? People who cut themselves are mentally sick.

Anyway, good job with the scars, but I wouldn't recommend making "emo" scars...

Hey Shep, thanks for making these! I'm looking forward to crafting a few 'unsavory' characters, and these scars are just the thing.

Oh yes, and I agree with this earlier request: 'Could you make one that looks like Scar's scar from Fullmetal Alchemist? It looks like a X on his forehead basicly.' That would be awesome, should you ever feel inclined.

Thanks again!!

I'd love it if you make them so each scar could be on each side of the face. A couple of my characters have scars over the left eye, and there's only scars for over the right.

I don't know why, but the custom full face masks don't show up in my game. I have other mods, cc in my game and everything works. But all these masks don't show up. Does anyone has this issue too or knows what may be wrong?

You never know whatís cominí for ya.

Hi, Shep.

Not long ago, I've downloaded 3-Colour-Eyes - Contact Lenses by Killc*a : http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=366434
But your two CCs are incompatible. I asked Killc*a if "Is it possible your lens to be non-exclusive in that CAS tab ?" Doesn't know ...
Do you have an idea ?
Sorry to bother, but I like both your creations.

@tchoa91

Short answer: A sim can't wear 2 costumes so it's impossible to make a sim with both customs eyes and scar.
For a more precise answer, see PM.

love the facial scars. if you do anymore, I'd suggest doing a pretty straight diagonal scar on the face to where its above one eye and ends below the other eye. it would help those Final Fantasy fans make some of the ones from #8.. ;p

and I to would take the 'Scar' scar off FMA if it was made. hmmm.....makes wonder if anyone has created Edward's Automail arm now....

Off topic here...
I'm not mentally sick because I cut! Actually, you feel happier when you cut. It's because you have endorphins in your blood and the less endorphins you have the happier you feel. That has been proved by scientists or whatever. Also, Cutting is addictive, it's just as easy to get addicted to cutting as it is to get addicted to alcohol!
So next time you're about to judge an entire group of people, you should read in to it a bit more...

Awesome! I needed some scars for a sim I'm making, I attemted to make some and really failed miserabley... thankyou so much! And also, I agree about not making emo scars... I don't think its right to put something so sad and serious in a game.

resistance is useless.
ALL MY CREATIONS are on garden of shadows, check them out! (rh)

I downloaded this mod before and then my computer got wiped. Love the mod, just wondering before I re-download it, did you fix the glitch to where if you take a shower your face will change to full face make up until you leave the shower? It's not a big deal, but I was just wondering if you were able to fix it.

I've never heard about this glitch (maybe because I don't play or create CC anymore ), so I don't fix it...

You should maybe try the "blush version" in order to avoid this (can't try this myself, but I think your sim will have some blush instead of a full face mask when he will take a shower... not perfect but a bit better ^^)
