This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.

Requested by Cyclist101 for his science fiction film project, here is The Marauder.

He had asked me to construct a starship which satisfied three requirements: 1) that the ship subtly reflect “aquatic origins,” 2) be built as a military vehicle for his sci-fi marines, and 3) occupy a medium to small lot.

The 3x3 lot is, to the best of my knowledge, hack-free, and requires Nightlife in order to play.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract: Use WinRAR (Windows) or Stuffit (Mac) to extract the .sims2pack file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

A very interesting lot, well done v1nd1care.
To me, the most important thing about this upload is the lot size. I've seen many great lots use up huge lots that weren't really needed and not only do they take up valuable real estate on the neighbourhood map, they drive my frame rates through the roof.

Thank you!

V1ND1CARE -- your work is always visually unique and highly creative. This lot is just what I had asked you to do and more. The shots that I have created with it are stunning! Thank you for creating the ship and terrain for my movie.

WOW! Can’t even start imagining how THAT was done! But I love it! Thank you! It would be really cool to have that in my game!

Wow absolutely fantastic!!! If you ever feel so inclined the ship from the Sci-Fi series Farscape ... Moya would be a fantastic addition to a sci-fi ship themed collection <hint hint> Again great job and thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this ship looks like it was modeled after one of the ships in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.

I honestly have no reasons to d/l this, but let me just say this is a REALLY nice house you've built! It's very innovative, and looks like it took hours to do, so my hat's off to you. :D

Amazing. Although I'm puzzled as to how the sims get onto it. It's floating in midair after all. Amazing.

I want to thank everyone for all the kind comments and responses.

Idtaminger -- the sims board the vessel via stealth stairs located below.

And Francien, it took me approximately five hours and six cups of stale black coffee to complete it. However, masochist that I am, I enjoyed almost every minute of it.

unbelievable... i tried to create a starship but the ship got too big in order to keep the dimensions right, and the layout didn't make sense, neither did the grassy area and sidewalk outside the ship. but this is really great, thank you! great job!

One word: BBQ.
Oh, and I'm speechless about that. How did you get it into the air like that? I figure columns, but still! Did you use multi-story columns and differently-stacked columns..
And the terrain is cool too! I know it's quite easy to make, but I'm too lazy to do that..

Actually, I never used columns during its construction. I built the ship, beginning from the tail section up, by using walls and erecting scaffolding.
