Hi everybody
Finally finished adult career number 2, the Nightclub career! The idea of this was to make sure I had a nocturnal only career to suit my vampires that wasnt an actual 'be a vampire' career. So it does work well for normal simmies too! I played it right through with both. I think I eked out most of the bugs and typos but let me know if anything bothers you! The career is based on the slacker career, but has it's own GUID and Group ID etc, so won't overwrite it. It uses the slacker career reward, cos I have no idea how to make objects and no original ideas for them anyway. The career is quite different for males and females in the middle, which made making chance cards interesting (as the options have to be the same) but I think I thought of scenarios that worked well. All levels have cance cards. The levels are: 1. Leaflet Distributor 2. Glass Collector 3. Barman (M) / Barmaid (F) 4. Front Desk Attendant (M) / Cloakroom Attendant (F) 5. Bouncer (M) / Dancer (F) 6. VIP Bodyguard (M) / Private Dancer (F) 7. Card Shark (M) / Show Dancer (F) 8. DJ 9. Club Manager 10. Club Owner. You wear Bartender outfit for levels 2 and 3, and a slick sut for 9 and 10. All others are own clothes. (I wanted a suit for bouncers but that meant the dancers also had to wear suits, so I just have a suit as my everyday outfit for bouncer sims!) The icon is the nightlife symbol and is a bit blurry but works fine. The pay is pretty lousy for the early levels, and you have to work hard for promotions. That's just the way I like it, so I don't have millionaire sims too quickly. I like the challenge! The only known bug is that because you work overnight, the game sometimes accuses you of missing work when you had a night off. I played right through the levels without getting sacked though, so it's not too much of an issue. Thanks again to psion for the tutorial. Maybe next time I won't need it! Extract to your downloads folder as usual. Hope you all enjoy. ps. for those who have downloaded my service career, that has now had a minor update, to fix an error I made with financial chance card rewards on the last four levels, so you may wanna re-download that. Thanks! pps. I've now done the 2 careers I particulalry wanted in the game, so now I'm open to requests. I'll only bother to do it if it's original (diff from anything in the game, and downloadable on MS2) and interesting (I doubt I'd make something I wouldn't want in my own game!) Please don't ask for prostitute/drug dealer/terrorist type careers as (a) it's a bit tasteles, especially when kids can download them and (b) they tend to get locked anyway, which makes them a complete waste of time! PM me or post here with your suggestions. Have fun! 706 people have said thanks to wiggins1982 for this download. For more information about this creator and their policies or details, click here.
