The only problem I have with this is the lack of gadgets I can put into it to make it useful.

Thanks V1ND1CARE. I just love the mood that you're able to create in your lots. They seem so real. Not to mention the level of skill involved in creating these pieces. Thanks again.

Simdealist -- The stairs are stealth stairs. Although they may not appear to connect to the floor above, they do.

I was the 300TH person to thank. XD I thought that was worth telling everyone. Right, well I'm getting bored with my current monsters, so I'm just gonna run and find some more on this charming site. ^^

I love this lot! But I've discovered that I can't use the level below the living quarters. I put in a stairway with on problem to get to that level but the sim only goes two steps then complains about something in the way. And there is nothing I can see. Any hints?
I can see how much work you put into it and if I can use it I will be putting it in a video story for youtube. Thanks for your work.

curlyann93 – the level below the living quarters is too short for your sims to enter as it wasn’t designed for play.

BrokenPiece – I just downloaded the lot and installed it. The stairs that are included are the Maxis Holy Smoke Stairs, not any custom content that you need to download, and so they should appear readily in your game.

If these aren’t included as in my pic above, then I would suggest downloading the file once more and reinstalling the lot. Please let me know if this works for you.

One note concerning them: these stairs (built at the ground level and in the living quarters) were constructed as “stealth stairs,” meaning low profile and small. To use them, just click on where you would like your sims to go (i.e., the living room) and you sims will automatically use these stairs to get there. They will use them autonomously as well.

Okay, I will try again and let you know then.

[EDIT:] I checked it now, and you were right. I think I somehow managed to just delete the stairs the first time. XD Cause When I removed my family, placed the house again and put hte family in it everything was fine. Thanks for taking the time to help me. :lovestruc And sorry for making a fuss out of nothing!
