This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
For all you fans of butterflies
I bring you eight dead butterflies cruelly impaled on pins and mounted lovingly in a hand crafted box made of the finest wood substitute.
Your Sims will marvel at the craftsmanship and wonder how they got the butterflies to sit still long enough to stick a pin through.

The for recolourers zip file is not necessary to make this object work. It is only a helpful file for anybody wanting to recolour this object.

You can find it under decorative wall hangings.

It has been tested in the base game and with expansion packs so it should be fine for all.

The mesh has 90 faces and 156 vertices

You may upload this object in a lot to free sites only. They have to be proper free sites though, not half free and half not.

The item is recolourable which you are welcome to do.
You can also include the mesh with your recolour and post on any site.

Because of the way that the mesh and alpha work I would recommend anybody wanting to recolour this to download the for recolourers zip file.
This contains a pdf explaining everything and texture maps to help you get everything in the right place.

The mesh was created in 3d studio and textured in photoshop.

Everything was of course made functional in SimPE.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

They go so well with my poem!

Le papillion chants une douce chanson, The butterfly sings a sweet song
just, simple, vrai, elle t'appelle, tout bas fair, simple, true, she calls to you softly
je suis ce papillion, I am this butterfly,
mais quand vous l'avez But when you have her
vous la goupillez vers le bas, you pin her down,
seulement, si elle ne peut pas t'échapper, only so she can't escape,
et à travers ta folie, tu l'a tuée. but through your madness, have killed her

Je Suis une Grenouille Mort - I am a dead frog

And if you listen real close, when the butterflies are first pinned, they sound like Vincent Price from the original "The Fly" screaming "help me, help meeeeeeeee....", in a teeny, tiny, squeaky voice.LOL

Nice work, other half will really love this item.......

Oh, how lovely! It looks sort of like it belongs in a 19th-century intellectual's absurdly huge private library. And I know almost nothing about poly counts, but, damn, that's tiny. I don't know if I've ever seen CC with a poly count that small. :D
