I love your Sims 1 for Sims 2 series! You've been doing a really great job, and I definitely hope to see more.

I was telling my husband last night that I think I will always be compelled to do Sims 1 stuff, even though a fair amount of it seems imposable to me at the moment. I remember thinking the same thing even as I was working on the Makin' Magic bed...

Some things, like the fountains, I really, really want to do but I have yet to alter BHAVs and actually have them work. I think I need the For Dummies AND Idiots compendium edition of that tutorial, with step by step pictures.

Sometimes the hardest part is just actually settling on one project and actually completing it without wandering off to do something else (and in fact that happened yesterday in the middle of trying to upload the desk!) Woops!

I had been a bit concerned that the texture wasn't detailed enough, but then that would require a larger one, and then it just snowballs from there. That is a continual problem for an extreme perfectionist.

Those dang pool balls! Too many projects floating around in my head... I wish I could figure out how to get SimPE to clone ME. I've got a window that I'm ALMOST done mapping (I've only gotten sidetracked twice (or three times) since starting it yesterday!) and then I'll work on the few other objects I need to go with it. Other than that, my lips are sealed except to say its not Sims 1.

Oh, and there might be some object prizes connected with it too... (but I haven't figured them out yet... Doh!)

[NoteForCorset]Would you like me to make an 88x31 button for Simburg village, or have you got one in mind... I wanna get a link to your site up on my site [/NoteForCorset]

Great work! I love Sims 1 for Sims 2 stuff, as I miss many Sims 1 objects, but love playing TS2 too much to return to the original just for the objects. And I love recreating old families and houses, from the original game, complete with matching objects. And this object will forever be a classic.

Thanks heaps, and I'll be checking your profile regularly to see what you're working on!

That would be great, especially since I completely forgot... I was so busy the other day that I forgot to let you know that the address is even easier now: SimburgVillage.com! (and yes, that was a very shameless plug.)

Every time I try to go play Sims 1 for fun it never lasts for long. My scroll wheel doesn't zoom, I'm always squinting on the nearest zoom trying to see more detail, the four angles of the camera make it seem broken, but most of all I start seeing all the objects that I want to make for Sims 2!

My modding methods on what to do next are so completely random you never know what I'll do! In fact I have seven (or likely more) projects at the moment that are mostly done that I keep forgetting to get back to.

I'm always searching for Sims1 items for Sims 2, and I really love the things you've done. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
You're awesome.

Would you consider doing the little round wooden end table from Livin Large?

Yay. YAY. YAY!!! It was my favourite desk in TS1, but I've nearly never bought it due to my lack of ability to play one family for a long time (yes! it's the end of this phrase[?] in here).

I love looking at furni from sims 1 and seeing people make it available for sims 2 =]
This desk looks like an exact replica, i also downloaded that mystery canopy bed you did from sims 1.

And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming
