In the link a _ is missing, it gives a 404 error.
Anyways, the recolors of this fabulous new mesh is very much appreciated! Thanks!

These look great, thanks! Any chance of recolours for the modern shelfbed?

Yum! Thanks so much. Just a comment; I know people expect Inge's stuff to work with all EPs and SPs, but you said you only tried with up through Freetime. Well, I have all EPs and SPs except the new Mansions and Gardens SP, and these work beautifully. The "[" and "]" from AL raises and lowers the beds so they position perfectly.

It's as if you read my mind!! I was hoping someone would do recolors, as I have absolutely no creative talent. Thank you for sharing!

Thankyou all!

Fixed the link, thanks for spotting it.

Dragonarts, thanks for the extra compatibility info. The beds were tested in AL initially also, just not by me.

Inuyasha, I do have some colours for the sleek bed, I'll be posting them soon.

The requirements on this download indicate it is usable if a person only has up to Pets, but at Inge's site, the originals indicate they need Freetime and Apartment Life as far as I can tell. Do the beds indeed work without them? I would be thrilled. If not, you might want to add the Freetime icon. They look great, and I have all the expansions listed as required but I do not have Freetime or AL.

Can someone tell me how these become usable, and what sort of animations happen if you attempt to climb into the top bunk?

Do go to Simlogical and read the instructions, link:
http://www.simlogical.com/sl/Sims2P...2_Shelfbeds.htm
The animations are similar to Inges/Ataveras earlier bunkbeds, that is, the sim seems to go to bed in the lower bunk and then magically is asleep in the upper one. They make the bed in a similar way. Combined with the Simlogical mod for accessible beds (link at that same page) you can use the double bed placed next to a wall or in a corner.
I think they are mostly tested with AL or Freetime, but as I recall it they should be usable also with earlier expansions. There is an extra control thingie to download at that same page to use for adjusting height of the beds.
If you go to Simlogicals forum you can also ask questions there.

I did go to the site, and the requirement system there is a bit different from the iconing here, but as far as I can tell from the onsite documentation/description, this bed probably does not work unless a person has either Freetime or AL or both. In addition the requirements for the controllers to be used with the beds are not listed as being compatible with earlier expansions. I could ask over there, but I am fairly certain I would be asked to read the site documentation, which I have done, and the answer looks like no. I guess I will have to content myself with Atavera's. I once downloaded an object that required Freetime, and did not mention that. It caused massive crashes before I found and removed it, so I have been playing it safe since then. I don't know if this bed would do that or not if someone does not have the proper expansions. My post was not intended as a criticism, just a heads up about a potential requirements issue. It's beautiful work. I was mainly worried someone might assume the beds had been tested by Aelfaed with only the expansions listed, download this, have a problem, and blame the creator rather than themselves (for not reading the Simlogical documentation).

I did say I had tested it with Freetime, but I'll change it if it makes people happy.
