This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.

There is a desk, bookcase, bench and a candle.
desk and bench are master and slave objects.
If you want put some thing on bookcase, it must be in floor.(after you can put on a table, lowtable or endtable)
I add a bookcase_ApartmentLife. If you have freetime bookcase you must delete it before download apartmentlife bookcase. They use the same Guid.

the bookcase for apartmentlife has a problem with the placement and the freetime with texture... sorry, sorry,...
