Austria Avenue No.1






This picturesque family home is based around the Austrian style of housing, typically a large A frame roof with considerable overhang and a rectangular shaped building, however some of the more modern Austrian homes have sides to the houses and normal roofs. I discovered this after my rescent and third trip to Austria, personally i find the architecture beautiful and refreshing, it is so unique and is very statement, prehaps not to its surrounding area but to the Foreign traveller it is awe inspiring. So because i discovered such insipration in these buildings i wanted to create some housing to reflect that, i have been building a few houses for a week or two now and this is the first one that really striked what an Austrian house really means to me.

Austrian Avenue No.1 is called Stofflerwirt Haus, translated and simply Stofflerwirt House! It is a modernist yet traditional house and represents a great likeness to one of my favourite buildings that i saw whilst in Austria. The house itself has a large downstairs with a lounge, study/library, hall, garage and kitchen/dining room. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and a single bedroom as well as 2 bathrooms. The Main bedroom also has its own private dressing room. What striked my about the style of Austrian Housing was the open plan living they seem to have adopted, it seems to be a timed tradition of living and works perfectly among the timber and wood of the buildings!

I did not create this house to optimise downloads or to try to achieve a little trophy, this house is a dedication to the builders of Austria who make the architecture come alive and what really inspired me. I have not tried to keep my EPs low because i needed most of them to really make this building with its rustic charm, so sorry if you cannot download but thanks and comments are always appreciated if you like it. Just as a note the house is also FULLY furnished!

As you may notice i have tried to keep this house as inkeeping as i possibly could, it has the stereotypical roofing, the wood frame, the modern twist, the rustic charm, the flowerpots in the windows and the open floor plan! So do try to enjoy the house and i hope it gives you as much fun playing as it gave me creating it!
