Project Ancient World
I have started a big project: The Ancient World.
The project is a multipart download and includes
- The Gate of Ishtar
- The Lighthouse of Alexandria
- The Mausoleum
- The Temple of Artemis
- The hanging gardens of Babylon
- The Pantheon
- The Roman Forum
- A Roman Domus
- Roman Insulea
- And much more
With time, all the lots will be available at ModTheSims2.

Roman Insula (History)
Insula (pl. insulae) were frequently cheaply made apartment houses or tenements up to 6 or 7 stories high. They were fire traps, with no running water. After the great fire under Nero, the emperor restricted their height. Even if the insulae didn't burn, they might collapse from bad construction. Light came from openings we refer to as windows, although they would not have contained panes of glass.

About this Lot
This Lot contains a few Insulae grouped around an litle inner courtyard. The first floor could be used as home business area.
The talest building has 4 floors. Ive created balconys and terasses for the roman sims to look up the street and follow the life in your ancient city.
The inner courtyard offers a little garden where the sims could grow fruit and egetable.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract: Use WinRAR (Windows) or Stuffit (Mac) to extract the .sims2pack file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
