Err, no, it wont "destroy your pc". No more than any other normal program you download. |

Tumblr - Yes, I have a blog. :) <Corsix> Why 'mod the sims 2' when you can mod 'mod the sims 2'? Story books are full of fairy tales, of Kings and Queens, and the bluest skies. |

Thank you so much for this helpful and easy-to-learn tool, Delphy. As always, your work is excellent. I admire your diplomacy when responding to certain comments. It never ceases to amaze me how ungrateful and unconstructively critical some people are. No matter what you do, it seems, there are always some who can't be pleased, or who can't follow certain steps, i.e., reading the instructions. You have done so many things to make our game(s) better, and I always appreciate your time and hard work. Many thanks. centime

Thank you for this tool. This program works perfectly. I only miss to create HSV patterns. I was wondering (and hoping) if you are planning to update this tool to make also HSV patterns as the next 0.8.0.0 tsrworkshop. Thanks. |

After TA install and with the 1.7 patch without TA, I've try to install patterns created with this tool as .sims3pack format. I've discovered that the launcher list them in the Downloads tabs, but it is able to install only one of them. Other files are read as "already installed". If you try to install, the installed one is updated with this. All patterns exported as .sims3pack files from this tool are read as 0x00000000d, when you install the launcher create a file called in this way in DCBackups. First I thought to an error while creating and I tried to re-make them, but I have got the same error. |

I tried to use this but the patterns I made don't show up in the game. I thought I was doing everything right but I guess not if I can't see them in game. Please, can someone help me? |

Dearest most smartest Delphy... Have you given any consideration to adding the ability to modify existing pattern packages? As posted here: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=402700 I'm having trouble figuring out a way to re-categorize some custom patterns I've downloaded... And if there was just a 'File-Open' an existing pattern package on this *most wonderful* tool you've created, I could change those darned old printy patterns from 'paint' to 'fabric' in a snap! ~goes off hoping that flattery works on the most exalted Delphy~Edit to Add: Hugelunatic has done a tutorial on how to change the pattern category using Postal... It's here: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=363669 But (I think) having the pattern packager do it was a nifty idea anyway!! Thank you Delphy for all you share with us! I appreciate you!! |

I don't get it. I'd like to create a pattern that looks like the autumn grass terrain cover. I exported the dds image of the grass from the game, what am I supposed to do with it next? This program keeps turning it grey. |

Its grey becuase you have to set the default colour of the pattern - just click on the grey colour box and choose another colour. |

TOTALLY have to necrovive this thread, A) to say thank you with more than a press of a button because I can't even begin to express how much you need to be thanked and B) because when I read that you'd eat people's pasta? I was eating pasta lol. I won't ask the eat my pasta question though. Again thank you for your dedication in making it possible, the creators and modders and all the people making this possible are stellar in my eyes. |

| we0905 | Thank you so much Delphy! The program is running fine. All I have to do is put the packages into my sims 3 mods folder. This is fantastic! Thank you for sharing your hard work with everyone. |

I skim-read a few pages er and then gave up because it's one of those days (my house is full of builders tearing the place apart so it's wall to wall migraines for me). I use the TSR Workshop to make patterns. I hate this for 2 reasons. The second reason is that it's not possible to edit the bump or specular maps when creating a new pattern. I was busy grring over this the other day and then realized in a moment of 'doh' that there is of course another option. Having wandered over to have a look I don't see a mention of this feature - probably my bad - skim reading and all. Does it support the additional maps or is it something that might be added if not? I would dearly love to abandon the Workshop, talk about feeding the hand that bites me (ok that doesn't quite work but you get the point I'm sure). This seems like a good place to start! |

When I try to run the program, I get a message that says, "Pattern Creator has stopped working". Do you know what I should do to fix this? |

Please note! It is NOT possible to just download any old seamless pattern from the net and shove it in game. It WILL look bad and not work properly! You have been warned, and if I get any questions saying "I downloaded a pattern online and tried it and...." then I will find you and eat your pasta.
