Information (Click for more details):
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.

Here is the original Maxis fairy outfit:
I contemplated, at first, to simply enhance the pink so that it was a nicer colour, but then a better idea came to mind - to make a black recolour! But it didn't stop there. I also wanted to do a white recolour for some contrast.
And here is the final product - two recolours in black and white for your pixie girls [sim children featured in pictures NOT included =P]
Hope you enjoy! ^^
UPDATE I finally used the extraTXTRremover to shrink the file size on these. I really should have done this a long time ago, I'm not sure why I didn't...
