This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
Because, sometimes, it hurts.

5 scars (left/right cheek, chin, forehead, over the right eye) available under full face makeup category.

For a better look, you will have to adjust the 2 colors in order they match your skintone. With a natural skintone, it can easily be done by adjusting the slider (light/dark) for each color.

For other Skintones (blue, green, etc) you will have to adjust the color.

Playing with the color (adding or removing red tone) allows to make a recent or an older scar.

They don't replace any other mask.

Availability:
- Young Adult, Adult, Elder, male and female Sims
- All Clothing Type

Update:
2 Versions available:
- Old one, full face make-up, scars are visible under the costume category in CAS
- New one, the scars are categorized as Blush in CAS. This means yours Sims can have Scars AND Customs Eyes. Big thanks to tchoa91 for the idea .

Additional Credits:
Thanks to Delphy's CAS Texture Unitool.
Accessory Type: Misc
Age: Young Adult Adult Elder
Maxis Flags: Not Applicable

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Your scares are really great. They give some character to pudding faces without looking too rude. Thank you so much for sharing!

This is a great idea! But i'm wondering if u could do more of scars? for an example Desmond Miles' from Assassins Creed, I personally would request a similar to that one, except only on the upper lip, because I have one like that IRL but this is great!

Oh yeah, and can you please make it for teens too ?

I really like the way they look and the fact that they are categorized as Blush in CAS!
I usually don't request stuff, but yours are the one that are the closest to what I'm exactly looking for, so I guess it won't hurt to ask.

I want to do a "Ezio Auditore" for my game, and if you've played Assassin's Creed, you already know what I'm going to ask.
I need a scar that would look like this: Ezio

Looking at the "eye" scar, I wish I knew how to do it because the shape looks almost the same. Ezio's scar seems to be just a tad more curvy.
I'm taking a chance in asking, but if you don't have the time or don't feel like doing it, it's all good.

Thank you the ones you made already!

Do you think you might be able to my the right eye scar for the left eye? I don't know if someone already asked, but I think it would be cool on the other eye as well.

I second that. My John Locke sim needs a scar in that location.

Thank you so much! :^) Finally I can make Sims that aren't perfectly smooth and clean faced! Also, you had me smack my monitor - trying to get that little crawling bug. LOL

These are just what I was looking for. A 'duelling' scar was the perfect finishing touch for the sim I was creating. Thanks.
