I'm tired as hell while I write this, so excuse me if I sound like a total dolt. XD But um... I was wondering if you could take any random stove and make it a "new object" that goes on fire everytime it's used (or maybe the option of having it randomly going off?) I just want one type of stove going on fire so I KNOW which one will go off. I don't want all my sims having kitchen fires because every stove is programmed to burn their house down at random. lmao! So, would ya? ^^; Or at least think about it. I dunno. But if you do accept my request, would you be so kind as to let me know in a message? It's the only time I get notified about replies. lol! Anyway, thanks for reading this in full! (If you did, of course.) ;]

The chance to have a kitchen fire is still quite small, even with the doubled version of this mod. The biggest change of this mod is actually that the most expensive stove merely has the ABILITY to start fires instead of being magically fire immune.

If you really need a kitchen fire for whatever purpose, just tell your Sim to start cooking something on it and then force them to do something else and it will burn and catch fire. I don't think there's enough interest to have a stove that always catches fire because there's tons of other mods you can use to simply start fires, like the Chaos Mod Painting, which can start a fire on any object in your house whenever you want: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=356513

If I always thought that if your Sim wakes up with the "Feeling Lucky" moodlet it is impossible to start fires or get robbed, etc. I don't absolutely know for sure however. It might just be a chance reduction so this mod will still work on them. I have had a Lucky Sim start a fire on the first day I got this game, but I don't remember if she actually had the positive lucky moodlet.

As a side note, I've never had another fire since that one on my first day so I created this mod.

!!!!! There's a glitch problem !!!!!!! I think this mod is great, but I notice w/ expensive stoves at the moment is after the insurance pays for a new replacement, Sims can not use the stove. The Sim stands around with waffles in hand wantin' to slide into oven, but sim can not use stove.

Sorry Bobbo, but I cannot reproduce this problem... When I tested this mod I used the expensive stove the most and replaced it at least a couple dozen times without problems.

This is awesome! Thank you, that'll make my sims lifes more wild ^^

Just to check: your mod doesn't conflict with any cooking/eating mod? You only modified the stoves, no?
