New Mesh
This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
Have you ever wanted clean, contemporary, decent looking stairs which The Sims 3 so happens to lack drastically? Well you're in luck! I've taken it upon myself to create this set of 4 new stairs for the game. It comes equipped with a modified version of the "Fun Fence", the only difference being it doesn't repeat the pole every square, now it only places it at either ends (see the picture) That's not all! I've also fixed the 'flicker' issue when you zoom out. I wasn't aware of this until others reported it to me, but not to worry, it's all gone now! ![]() Click the buttons below to see the details about all five stairs and the railings. These particular stairs include all the parts of the others, hence why they are the 'base' stairs. Recolorable Channels: 2 Poly Count: Faces: 132 Vertices: 343 These ones as the name suggests, are backless, they have the classic modern look, honestly, who doesn't like these types of stairs? Recolorable Channels: 2 Poly Count: Faces: 78 Vertices: 224 If you can't tell by the picture, the actual steps themselves are resting on a ramp that runs from the ground up making for an interesting look. Recolorable Channels: 2 Poly Count: Faces: 88 Vertices: 253 These are the stairs you want to use if you need two width stairs onto your deck, because quite frankly, the others look a little silly if you use them. Recolorable Channels: 2 Poly Count: Faces: 108 Vertices: 273 With the newly updated Alder Stairs to make them all CASTable, I thought it'd be great to add a new set! These are the type that you see in some homes clinging to the wall, looking like they're about to collapse, well, here you go ![]() Recolorable Channels: 2 Poly Count: Faces: 48 Vertices: 144 Picture These are almost identical to the ingame "Fun Fence", I've simply removed the way the pole repeats every tile. Because of this fact, the poly count is the same, but for old times sake here it is! Recolorable Channels: 0 Poly Count: Faces: 140 Vertices: 125 Additional Credits: Everyone who made meshing possible in The Sims 3, and of course those who provided very helpful tutorials
