Pretty simple! Normally when the camera, normal or first person, gets close to a sim, the sim will fade out. This is inconvenient for taking pictures. This simply gets rid of that!
Before:  I couldn't even get in this close before fading began. After:  That's more like it! But wait, there's more!  You can get REALLY close. Be careful, though!
