This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
This download is part of the Medieval Creator Challenge
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Hi there! Time for me to join the challenge! And as I am a CAS stuff creator (most of the time) I have to make stuff for your medieval simmies.

Let your sims start an epic battle!

Info
Channels explanation shown below.
Both accessories are for both genders, teen-to-elder.
You can find the sword under bracelets, and the shield under rings, for everyday, formal, swimwear, sleepwear, and athletic.
The sword is assigned to the right hand, and the shield to the left upper arm.

Enjoy! ^-^

Polygon Counts:
Sword: 394 polys
Shield: 1239 polys

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

That's really rude. Where are your manners? Creators are basically the role models of the MTS community, and by being like that, you're setting a bad example.

I know its off topic, but it really needed to be said, but feel free to hate me for saying so, but do it maturely.

I'm tired of getting requests when I have a big sign in my profile that says "I don't take requests"
I'm always kind, but sometimes is really annoying when people treat you like their employee just because you're a creator. So I just wanted to avoid that, even if I know that there are polite users. I'm not a bad example, at all. What about you? Coming from nowhere just to say that? Please.

you know what might be cool? Set these to your sims martial arts outfit! then they could look like they were really fighting with another sim! holly crapola i need to go try that.... thanks a lot anyways! Perhaps (this is a suggestion, not a request! dont worry i wont order you around!) you could additionally make a sheathed sword for the sim's back, but you don't have to if you don't want to.

I voted for this!

Edit: Yes, they really work, although it looks a bit silly when they are using a computer while holding a sword... Link was killing the library computer when I wasn't paying attention to him!

Awesome! Downloading~ <3 Quick question though, I looked at the links you said you'd gotten your clothes from, but I couldn't see the dress you used on your female sim in the picture? The dark-haired lady~

It's just I have a sim whom I've been looking for a similar outfit for for awhile, and any help would be much appreciated!

You never cease to amaze me with your items. Keep up the excellent work, I'm not into medieval stuff, but I'm using these babies for my fencer Simmies. I'm just going to make them hold these and then hit 'SPAR'. It'll look like they're kind of fencing.

love it, & I must say...I am sure it takes a lot of time & effort to create these things; every creator has the RIGHT to decide whether or not they want to take requests, & that decision should be respected, esp. since we are getting these free...so thank you

Time that I became a knight and promised the loyalty to a princess seemed to come.
