Information (Click for more details):
New Mesh
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
UPDATE 19th OCTOBER 2011: Updated with new file fixed to work with patch 1.26/Pets, thanks to Grant Hess's RigFix. The new file is on the Download page, with a filename beginning with PETS. The new file is NOT backwards-compatible, so if you don't have Pets or are not going to update with the 1.26 patch, please use the old version.
As mentioned in my 'Sims 2 Medieval Living Room Set' upload (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=396772 ), I had trouble with the textures for the Loveseat, which I had to omit from that upload due to the textures being too blurry, but here it is at last. I really wanted to be able to make a presentable conversion of this piece, as it's my favourite of all of the TS2 medieval furniture, with its lovely carvings. It will be found in Buy Mode in the section Living Room, Sofas & Loveseats, and costs 725 simoleons. By default, the game adds an overlay of a leather texture, which gives it a slightly murky finish. Just simply go into Create a Style and change it to a wood texture of your choice, and it will look much better. Below, I've chosen a light reddish wood with a small grain, and that is what I use in the screenshots. It's recolourable and repatternable (as these items were never made with the idea of patterning them, your mileage will vary as to how good individual patterns will look). Nice for just sitting and relaxing, or for having a snooze: And, being a loveseat, good for cuddling: INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS: Unzip the .zip file and copy the .package file to your Mods\Packages folder. If you don't have a Mods\Packages folder and/or don't know how to install .package files, please see full instructions here: http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php...g_Package_Files Polygon Counts: 1522 Additional Credits: Made with s3oc, S3PE and Sims 3 Object Tool. Tested with Delphy's Sims 3 Dashboard for 'Blue Lot Syndrome' and came up clean. Thanks to Killc*a's post number 11 in this thread for solving the mystery of how to de-blur these textures: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?p=2904190 834 people have said thanks to Esmeralda for this download.
