So as I was happily simming I felt the sudden urge to have my very own football team *.*

The career features all 11 player positions of an association football team, as well as a SimCity National Team Player position and of course a Coach level.

LEVELS
(Same levels for male and female)

01. Association Football Player - §1460
In the sport of association football, each of the eleven players on a team is assigned to a particular position on the field of play. A team is made up of one goalkeeper and ten outfield players who fill various defensive, midfield and attacking positions depending on the formation deployed.

02. Goalkeeper - §1533
The last line of defence between opponent's offence and the team's goal. The primary role of the goalkeeper is to defend his team's goal and prevent the opposition from scoring a goal.
Physical strength, height, jumping ability and judgement are valued qualities for goalkeepers to have in order to deal with aerial balls and agility. Quick reactions and a good positional sense are all needed for shot stopping.

03. Full Back - §1653
Full-backs take up the wide defensive positions, one on each side of the field. Their main task is to prevent opposition players crossing or cutting the ball back into the penalty area.
The full back is usually pacey, strong in the tackle and with good stamina to get up and down the field. Because of the experience gleaned from the use of their chosen foot, full backs often make good free kickers or penalty takers.

04. Centre Back - §1653
The job of the centre-back is to stop opposing players, particularly the strikers, from scoring, and to bring the ball out from their penalty area.
Centre-backs are often tall, strong and have a good jumping, heading and tackling ability. Successful centre-backs also need to be able to concentrate, read the game well, and be brave and decisive in making last-ditch tackles on attacking players who might otherwise be through on goal.

05. Defensive Midfielder - §1653
A defensive midfielder is a central midfielder who is stationed in front of the back defenders for defensive reasons, thus "holding back" the freedom of the opponents to attack.
Defensive midfielders require excellent positional sense, tackling ability, and anticipation to excel. They also need to possess excellent passing skills and close control to hold the ball in midfield under sustained pressure. Most importantly, defensive midfielders require great stamina as they are the onfield players who cover the greatest distance during a professional football match.

06. Winger - §1754
A Winger is an attacking midefielder who is stationed in a wide position effectively hugging the touchline.
A winger is normally fast and/or tricky and enjoys running downfield close to the touchline and delivering crosses. Like all attacking players, wingers need to have 'off-the-ball' intelligence, by being able to read passes from the midfield that give them a clear crossing or scoring opportunity.

07. Attacking Midfielder - §1754
An attacking midfielder is a central midfielder who is stationed in an advanced midfield position, usually behind the strikers. These players typically serve as the offensive pivot of the team. This specialist midfielder's main role is to create goal-scoring opportunities using superior vision and skill.
The attacking midfielder is an important position that requires the player to possess superior technical abilities in terms of passing and, perhaps more importantly, the ability to read the opposing defence in order to deliver defence-splitting passes to the strikers.

08. Centre Forward - §1806
The centre forward has one main task: to score goals.
Players who specialise in playing as a target are usually of above-average height with good heading ability and an accurate shot. They tend to be the "outlet" player for both midfielders and defenders, able to hold the ball up and allow other players time to enter the game. They tend to score goals from crosses, often with the head, and can use their body strength to shield the ball while turning to score.

09. Sim City National Team Player - §2760
The Sim City National Football Team represents Sim City in international association football. You have been chosen to be a part of the team. UEFA European Championship, Euro World Cup, FIFA World Cup tournaments playing with elite superstar footballers from all over the world.
The best is yet to come and you are left screaming for MORE! MORE! MORE!!

10. Team Coach - §4792
The world is your oyster. Superstar footballers obey your every whim, dream-team managers are seeking you out, and you simply reminisce about the old days of your glorious football career and smile.

*Please note that with the high salaries of international players in mind the wages are a bit high for the game's standards. Get ready for one rich footballer sim!

CHANGE CARDS
Because this isn't a level-to-level career per say (footballers of one team are equally important regardless their position - hence career level) the chance cards are actually a way for you to choose if you want your sim to stay in his/her current position (e.g. Winger) or would like to transfer to the next available position (e.g. Attacking Midfielder) without having to reach all the level criteria (Skills and Family Friends).
