Whoa, this is one nice decor piece!

Yes, I can see in picture #6 how the lighting can be a problem... but honestly, with that particular pattern, it's not a problem to me ... the "compound painting" becomes instead an art piece with brightness gradation. In fact, had I made that "compound painting", I'd call it "Tweed into the Light"

Anyways, thanks for this brilliant idea!
