What does this do?
This is yet another tiny texture replacing mod that makes an in-game effect invisible. By default-replacing the DDS texture for the red and pink confetti hearts, they are no longer visible when your sims woohoo.
Works fine for bed, hot tub, and elevator - and probably everywhere else that has hearts, as there's just two textures that control them. Please let me know if the hearts are still visible for any other woohoo locations.
This is not a real "mod" - it is not a core mod, tuning mod, or script mod, but a texture replacer. As such, it won't conflict with anything unless you downloaded something that replaces the exact same textures. It also won't need updating for EPs/patches, and should work fine with all game versions now and in future.
Get it combined:
All of my tiny texture replacers are available in one .package file, for your convenience. You may download either the single files, OR the combined file - not both!

EA makes the game too cartoony, and annoying, too kiddy!, lol. I'm really enjoying your mods Paroxysm thanks for taking the time to remove these annoying flashy things, that this game prides itself in, lol.

MarleneJ - Hehe, yeah I saw discussion here about the creation of it, but I didn't see it actually posted here and I don't really go to other sites for mods much, so I made my own.

Yeah, those hearts were cute at first, but they quickly lost their charm. Yet another HP mod goes into my game.

I never liked the hearts... I kinda missed the sparks and fireworks. Not all woo-hoo is loving, after all... sometimes they just wanna have fun!

I know with the T rating they need G-rated sex. But the hearts were ridiculous.

This works for the hoverbed too, right? The hearts are cyan in a hoverbed.
Whatever. Thanks.

Hi, when I found this Mod, and some others that are very similar, I immediately found myself wondering; "Why would anyone want to remove those cute and very romantic little hearts that shower down upon a couple of Sims during a Woo Hoo encounter . I've got the same thought about the relationship sparkles. For me, these things enhance the moment . What I hate, though, I mean REALLY HATE, is that big, blue name/title/description patch-thingy that always appears when you hover your mouse pointer over an action . I mean, you're trying to make a selection from a list of items to be used or actions to be performed by a certain Sim, and that big blue square completely obliterates whats listed under it ! For instance, you're supposed to choose from a list such as; ask if single, propose go steady, get to know, or deep conversation, but you just, plain can't see your choice of options because that big, blue square lingers on the screen, hiding what's listed below. THAT really bugs me ! I'd LOVE someone to create a Mod that removes that blue square (sometimes it's a rectangle)! Do you know of anyone who could do this ?
I'd be eternally grateful .
