Many thanks belong to Helga for permission to recolour her free hair meshes, it's such a shame she is no longer creating new hairs for us. Though there are sites online you can download Helgasims archived meshes I've included the mesh file with this download to make it easier for you.

**Please make sure you download the HelgaMESH_85 WinRAR folder in the downloads tab; unzip and install it to your downloads folder so you will be able to see the recolours. My recolours will only show up in your game if you have installed this mesh file as well.**

I liked this hairstyle from the moment I saw it. I have been looking for inspiration and to bring new life to older meshes, so it was a great find to discover Helgasims hair meshes. I wanted to do a nice recolour of this hairstyle but wasn't sure about it with the fringe over the eyes. It just looked like such a busy hairstyle until I edited the alpha map and removed the fringe. A lot of straight hairstyles I recolour have fringes so I thought it would look simple and lovely without one. Happy with the result, I thought I would share it with you all. I am again using my current favourite recolour set - NuRey v3 16 recolours to bring you this beautiful hairstyle in an elegant, modern flavour.


Naturals:

Black - Licorice, Olive, Cola, Treacle

Brown - Chocolate, Caramel, Cinnamon, Mocha

Blonde - Honey, Lemon, Vanilla, Coffee

Red - Berry, Apricot, Peach, Plum

Thanks so much to CatOfEvilGenius for creating the new hair binning tool i have used to bin all of these recolours. All the recolours in this set are colour binned/familied for your female sims from teen to adult with greys for your elders binned/familied and linked to the blondes.

PLEASE NOTE: These recolours have again been decustomized. You will find them without the little star on the thumbnails in your maxis base game colour areas, not at the beginning of your colour bins with all of your usual custom binned colours.


All recolours are base-game compatible, no EPs required.
