Testers wanted. 2012-03-02 - Updated to game version 1.31. 2012-02-20 - Updated Invite Over interactions. Testers wanted. 2012-01-14 - Updated Swedish translation. Added checks to prevent interactions being available for pets. 2011-12-15 - Updated to game version 1.29. 2011-10-24 - Socialize option doesn't appear on the active sim anymore. Blacklisted Ask To Turn interaction from socialize macro. 2011-10-20 - Updated to game version 1.26. Status: Testers Wanted. The devs changed quite a bit with this patch, so please look out for any weird behavior or borkage. 2011-09-03 - Fixed performance gain for Work Overtime interaction. 2011-08-21 - Blacklisted Reveal Secret and Share Secret interaction in social macro. 2011-08-10 - Experimental: Changed to Eat Here interaction to include group, if there is one. 2011-07-26 - Updated to game version 1.24. Couple tweaks here and there. 2011-07-24 - Changed socialize interaction to make target sims stand up if they aren't standing already. 2011-07-10 - Altered the tone selector for the socializing macro. Should now run like it was supposed to to begin with, with much less autonomous adultery. Fireproof buyable upgrade choked on stoves that are fireproof already. 2011-06-23 - Attend Movie Screening fixed. For realz this time. Hopefully. (Gah, devs and their upcasts!) 2011-06-16 - Attend Movie Screening interaction should be available again (replaced it with a slightly altered version of itself). Invite To Lot shouldn't suppress instantiation of a group if your sim invited the other sim to a date. The upgrade situation of the buyable upgrades service will now block the target object from autonomous use. 2011-06-11 - Fixed another bug in the Invite To Lot interaction. 2011-06-07 - Blacklisted pillow fight and bore to death from socializing macro. Seriously, why did the devs put a terminating flag into the code if they're not using it? 2011-06-05 - Blacklisted "Tell Ghost Story" interaction from socializing macro. Few tweaks here and there. Tuning outsourced and availability of interactions made tunable. See Tuning section. 2011-06-04 - Microwave and massage chair (from store) now supported as targets for buyable upgrades. Added more sanity checks to buyable upgrades. Fixed the invite to lot interaction that I broke with the previous update. 2011-06-02 - Updated to game version 1.22/2.16/3.12/4.9/5.7/6.4/7.2/8.0. 2011-05-26 - Russian translation added. 2011-05-25 - Fixed an obscure issue that emerged in neighborhoods without schools. 2011-05-12 - Updated French translation 2011-05-06 - Upgraders of a buyable upgrade situation will now be zapped if they fail to go home properly. I couldn't test it unfortunately, because I haven't seen this particular error for quite some time. 2011-04-30 - Stopped the unbreakable upgrade from being available as buyable upgrade for objects that don't break anyway. 2011-04-29 - Fixed a bug in the Visit Lot With interaction. Added altered interaction for visiting shells that doesn't form groups. 2011-04-10 - Blacklisted "Request Feel My Tummy" from Socialize macro as it kicked the macro from the queue. Stopped "Boost Channels" from turning up as buyable upgrade for expensive TVs which already have it (untested). 2011-04-07 - Fixed fatigue stage in work out interaction. Disabled unpausing and repausing the game on load. 2011-04-04 - Silenced the socializing error. Fixed the buyable upgrades for dartboards. 2011-04-01 - Attempted fix for failing upgrades in high rises. Shiny new code to inject replaced interactions into interaction-coupled opportunities. Tell me if an interaction should fulfill an opportunity but doesn't. Fixed multiple FridgeHave/StoveHave interactions in WA base camps. 2011-03-30 - Attempted fix for missing interaction names. 2011-03-30 - Added Swedish translation. 2011-03-30 - Fixed a bug introduced by the previous version. 2011-03-29 9:05pm - Experimental fix for reported motive issues in combination with other mods. 2011-03-29 - Added Japanese translation. 2011-03-28 - Added Dutch translation. 2011-03-28 - Fixed a subtle bug in the DoLaundryOnTheSpot interaction (it's only for NPCs). Added Polish and Norwegian translations. Translators please read updated information for translators. 2011-03-27 11:36am - Fixed error in the BuyableUpgrades situation concerning hottubs. Added error trapping in a couple places. Tell me if you're missing interactions for no apparent reason. 2011-03-27 - Brute force attempt to silence the errors in the DanceTogether interaction that cause the sim interactions to vanish. 2011-03-26 - Brazilian translation updated. 2011-03-26 - Italian translation added. 2011-03-25 - Took a shot in the dark about the lost sim interactions. 2011-03-25 - Hungarian translation added. 2011-03-24 - Fixed a subtle error in the string tables. French, German and Brazilian translations added. 2011-03-23 5:41pm - Fixed the CommissionUpgrade interaction after borking it for fixing it because of the door glitch. Or something. 2011-03-23 5:34pm - Updated Finnish translation. 2011-03-23 4:23pm - Fixed issue with multiple interactions in pie menu. Fixed doors being unclickable. Fixed string tables. Uploaded new source text file. I knew I could count on you guys finding lots of bugs that eluded me the last couple weeks. 2011-03-23 - Added Finnish translation. 2011-03-23 - Next one. Fixed the Do Laundry interaction and made it less invasive so other mods can still access the original interaction to do their shtick. 2011-03-23 - Damn, first bug already. Noticed that I borked the events at the restaurant. Fixed. Also added Spanish translation. Supported for game version 1.42. This mod is a compilation of interactions that are either entirely new or altered/fixed EAxian interactions. The latter one is done by replacing the original interactions.
Help With Homework This lets sims (teen or above) actively help sims with their homework, i.e. the active sim sets the "Get Help With Homework" interaction in motion. Handy if the target sim is a townie. Ask To Be Trained Sims can ask other sims to train them. Handy if the target sim is a townie. Go To Bed With / Come To Bed Click on a double bed to let your active sim and the other sim go to bed together. If the other sim is in bed already, click on the other sim to make them join. Works only if the sims in question have a romantic relationship. Handy if the other sim is a townie. Stock With / Remove All But Use to stock the target fridge with a certain amount for each type or all of the ingredients in the active sim's inventory. Changes to "Remove" if the active sim's inventory doesn't contain ingredients. Better ingredients will be stocked first. Works well with my Box of Seeds mod. Handy for gardeners who want to keep the best stuff for themselves and sell the rest at the grocery. Try To Buy Ingredients This makes it possible to buy ingredients at the diner and bistro; quality at the bistro is better. Both offer better quality than the grocery. To prevent this from being too cheaty, you cannot choose the ingredients, the ingredients are very expensive and your sim needs to accomplish something to succed. See attached screenshot. Your sim might get lucky, though. Work Overtime Your sims can work overtime at their regular workplace for their regular wage, perfomance increase included. The shift length is three hours by default. Work Parttime Shift Sims can work single shifts at rabbit holes that offer parttime jobs. Wage is §30 and shift length is three hours by default. Cancel Carpool / Apply For Carpool / Cancel/Apply Schoolbus For The successor of my Carpool Disabler mod. This one is properly integrated into regular gameplay. Make a phone call to cancel the carpool; make another one to reapply for it. Teens can also cancel their schoolbus or reapply for it. Children need an adult to do that for them. Socialize This is a macro interaction that strings together social interactions. If you actively use it, you can choose the tone (friendly, funny, romantic or mean). For townies the tone gets chosen based on relationship to the target, traits and chance. The macro runs with lowered priority, so adding another interaction will kick it out of the queue. Apart from that it runs indefinitely for active sims and times out after a certain time or certain number of repetitions for townies. Commission Upgrade Click on any upgradable object and choose the upgrade you want. Your active sim will make a phone call and then a service upgrader will come to implement that upgrade. It's not feasible to tell how long exactly it will take to do a certain upgrade, because that data is spread all over the code. Thus it's not possible to tell how much exactly it costs. The cost per hour is §250 though, so don't expect any upgrade to be much cheaper than §1,000. If your sims don't have that sort of cash at the time, the bill will be added to the mailbox bills. Read Skillbook This interaction is only available for townies. Picks a skill book based on traits, occupation and lifetime wish or by chance if no match is found. The tuning package contains two XML resources for tunables and an XML resource for the basic availability of the interactions. Except for the latter one, there is no documentation, but the names should be mostly self-explaining. If you're able to do tuning/XML modding, just skip this and do your shtick. If you're new to to this, get yourself S3PE and read the instructions. It will work with other package editors as well of course, but I will only explain it for S3PE.
Wherever possible, I used already existing and localized strings; new strings are fully localizable. If you are willing to support a translation, please read the instructions. Disclaimer: I consider my mods to be free as free beer, copyleft - all right reversed, whatever you may call it. I expect the same from your translation! If you are not okay with this, then don't support a translation! If you already supported a translation and are not okay with this, tell me and I will pull it. Currently supported languages: English, Spanish, Finnish, French, German, Brazilian, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Norwegian, Dutch, Japanese, Swedish, Russian
If you are willing to translate, download the source text file and edit it with a text editor. Please be serious about your translation. I don't have the means to check these translations for grammatical or orthographical errors. Only translate the stuff between the <STR></STR> tags or you will break the localization. Leave the {0.String}/{1.SimFirstName}/etc. stuff unchanged. These are placeholders and will be replaced by the localization code, before the string is shown. You can freely move these placeholders to form sensible sentences though. Parts like {MA.him}{FA.her} are gender-dependent strings. Translate the part between the point and the closing brace and leave the rest unchanged. You can freely move these around as well and add new ones. Finally, please change the filename to something that indicates the language you translated to and upload it as attachment in the comments section of this mod. Please save your file in the UNICODE format (if you use Notepad, simply use "Save as..." and you will see a format drop-down menu below the field to enter the filename) and check the translation in-game after I uploaded it. Thanks. possible conflicts This is a scripting mod and as such the possibility for conflicts with other mods, no matter what kind, is next to non-existant. Other scripting mods that replace interactions might tangle with this mod, though. I've implemented safeguards for the cases I know. installation Please follow Game_Help:Installing_Sims_3_Package_Fileswiki. I can't explain it any better than that. Seriously, I won't even try even if you ask me. deinstallation Do NOT just rip this mod out! If one of the interactions of this mod is currently running when you save your game, you may become unable to load your savegame without this mod! This mod contains a lot of autonomous interactions, so even if you make sure that none of your active sims currently perform one of the interactions, there's still a very high chance that a townie is performing one. Prior to deinstallation, reset all sims in town by opening the console with Ctrl-Shift-C and using "ResetSim *" (without the quotes). Alternatively use twallan's ErrorTrap mod which will drop all "illegal" interactions upon load. support I support my mods. I appreciate bug reports. I don't support mods or custom content in general.
