Information (Click for more details):
Maxis Recolour
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
NOTICE: Apartment Life "broke" these doors and windows, so most of the Maxis colors weren't in the Build catalog after installing AL. This set is fixed by the later versions of CEP. If you download these recolors and they aren't all available in the Build Mode catalog - or if you just wondered where the rest of the original Maxis colors went - update your CEP to version 9.2.0 here.
I really like these windows and doors, but EAxis in their wisdom only gave us candy-apple red, snow-blind white, merciless black, royal neon blue and screaming-canary yellow, and those colors just don't work well in most residential decor. Recently I've found myself overusing the EAxis black in my south western sand-and-stucco 'hood, so I got inspired to actually recolor them already. My recolors include seven Maxis-match wood recolors, plus an aluminum recolor for your more staid businesses that would like to avoid blinding their customers. All files compressorized for your convenience and clearly named. Remember, you must have Open For Business for these to work in your game. Enjoy! 450 people have said thanks to wthrwthoutyu for this download. For more information about this creator and their policies or details, click here. Screenshots
