Thank you Morphead for A) reading my journal comments B) suggesting that Tudors are popular! I really enjoyed building this house and trying to make the roofs work with base game tools. As the house was taking shape, I realized that it was going to cost at least 4 "motherlodes" but hopefully your nouveau riche sims will think it's worth it. The house has 5-6 bedrooms, 4 full baths, and 2 half baths. It has large living and formal dining rooms, both with fire places. The gourmet kitchen has island and breakfast nook. Master suite opens on to back deck and hottub. The house also has base game garage which I don't think is really big enough to be converted to a real garage, but could be used instead for workout room. I play tested with a family of 5, the Windsors (most elegant name I could think of!) and even when people dropped in to greet them, my game didn't slow up, so hopefully yours won't either.
