For the most part, this is a great set of mods that has made my apocalypse challenge a lot easier! I'm noticing quite a few bugs as I play with it, though. I'm not sure if you're still maintaining this, but I thought I'd leave a note just in case.

The most obvious issue is with the Service Pet package. If I have that in my downloads folder, the game freezes up before loading a lot (even if there are no elder Sims in the household). It still happened only with this package in my downloads folder, and was fixed when I deleted it, so it's definitely that file.

I'm also noticing that every time I click on another Sim, the active Sim "jumps" and drops their entire queue. I have to use cheats to get a Sim pregnant - Try for Baby doesn't work because once I click on the other Sim, both of them pop out of bed.

I'm not sure whether this is intentional, but something seems to be restricting a few of the "desperation" actions. My first elder Sim starved to death because he kept complaining that he was hungry, but the "stuff face" action wouldn't trigger, even though there was a fridge FULL of food on the lot.

I haven't tested to see whether the last two issues are a conflict or a specific file, but they are definitely caused by this set of mods. I can also say for sure that if they're conflicting, it's only with each other, and not with any other hacks I have. The only restrictions I've lifted so far are Culinary and Service Pet.

I have the Super Collection (all EPs up to BV, plus HHS, GLS, and FFS). I made sure to remove all of this mod's package files that deal with EPs/SPs I don't have.
Doing all the things, and *mostly* not failing.

I'm not sure what is going on with the service pets file or the try for baby stuff, but disabling Stuff Face was intentional. By the original mod rules, if you see a sim trying to stuff face you must cancel it due to culinary restrictions. A large part of these mods was to remove a lot of annoying maintenance and rule memorization and make it more so whatever you still could do you were allowed to do. Make sure you have a plate of food ready for your foggy elders, as they can not care for themselves anymore.

Is "stuff face" still supposed to be disabled after lifting the culinary requirement? I searched both the original rules document and your thread here at MTS, and didn't see it specified. (Sorry if I missed it!)

EDIT: I removed the Intelligence and Entertainment folders and the "jump bugs" stopped. So the issue is probably in one of those.

I've found the culprit for the glitch that prevents sims from interacting on the bed (cuddle, woohoo, etc.)

It's the basegame file for the entertainment restriction! So for fellow players having this issue, take out that file. If Phaenoh or a good samaritan is around and wants to try to fix the glitch, that's the file causing it.

(and for background information, I play the super collection on Mac which has eps through BV)

A general question: does anyone have the old file for when the criminal bills were way higher? I'm finding that the bills are too low, and therefore not making the criminal restriction a challenge for me. (And familyfunds stopped working on this save, so I can't remove the funds that way).

If anyone would be willing to share it, you would have my gratitude!

k-athleen - I discovered that familyfunds only works right if you only have one of each household name. So, if you move someone out, and they form their own household, with the same last name, then whenever you type "familyfunds" in your active household, it will change the funds on one of the other households with the same name, instead. My fix for this is to use SimBlender and change the name of a sim BEFORE they move out. So, they can become "Founder Two" or whatever you like to make them different. Hope that helps!

Phaenoh - my issue with these mods is repeating itself on a brand new computer, and I don't know why. What happens is that I cannot load my family lot with the PetService installed. Even without PetService (it loads no problem, then!), I get at least 3 weird glitches that I can't stand: 1) After driving to and from the community lot to get my job, the hummer is stuck in "object in use" mode, and cannot be used again until I put "move_objects on" and delete/replace it, 2) I can't queue interactions with other sims! Every time I click on another sim, to interact with them, I get the jump bug and my active sim shifts slightly, while immediately stopping whatever action they were doing, which makes Try For Baby impossible, and 3) Force Error does absolutely nothing. So I can't reset bugged objects, either.

However, I LOVE you idea of the Tiered apocalypse, and growing the community as you go, so I am going to delete the mods, but use the rules set, manually.

I'm happy for all the people who are able to use these mods without problems. But after spending hours and hours reloading the game, trying to sort out "which mod is doing THIS glitch?" I just don't have the patience for it. Maybe these mods just don't like something in the coding of the Mac "Super Collection"? I understand that there is a slight difference between the Super Collection and just having all the EPs and SPs loaded separately. Same thing with the Ultimate Collection in PCs. I read somewhere that some modder got fed up trying to update all his mods for that one, when they worked just fine if the player loaded everything from the disks. Anyway, that's my theory.

Obviously, your mods work for a lot of people, so I'm blaming my computer and/or version of the game, rather than your mods, that clearly work for other people. And I'm going to do this, according to your rules (with one or two minor tweaks, because I just think Athletic should be Tier 1, and doing it manually, I CAN change that).

Edited to add: Oh, wait. I just read up above that the jump bug is from the Intellingce and Entertainment mods? OK, I'll give it one last try with the mods in place. I'll test another family with the mods, and see if the bug is still there. If not, then it's manual for me.

Edited again: Phooey! I deleted the Base game mods for Intelligence and Entertainment, and the game completely crashed upon loading a test family. So, I tried again, with Intelligence and Entertainment completely deleted, and the game completely crashed upon loading a test family. I took out all the mods, and now it works just fine, no crashing and no jump bug.

Sorry, Phaenoh. I know you worked so hard on these and made them work for so many people, but my computer just doesn't like me enough to work with the mods I really want. Manual, it is.

Hi Phaenoh!

I ran into a possible problem with your mod. When I load the restriction file for the pet service career (file name is Phaenoh_ApocalyspeModsCareerLocker-R2PetService), all my elder sims are unselectable. Is this a bug or a feature?
I don't see any info about the restrictions of the Pet Service career in the challenge's main thread, so I don't know what the restrictions consist of, ( I can't read the rules at the doc file, I don't have microsoft word installed).

All in all I'm very satisfied with this mod and I applaud you for all the work you've put into the challenge!
