Awesome job with this world, Miuki! I especially like Morrison's Farm and the Chapel. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this--you can really tell that a lot of love went into creating it. I'm now inspired to try my hand at CAW!

A couple questions:
1. About how many hours did it take to make Aspen Islands?
2. There's a large lot in the middle of the countryside, near Morrison's Farm, that's flagged commercial no-visitors. Is that intended? The lot is completely empty. I changed it into a residential lot since there is only one other residential lot of comparable size (at least 60x60), but it's way on the other side of the map!
3. Got any plans to make another world? =)

bootsboots 1. Couple of months. I've done half of work really fast, but then came the tedious part - the tuning, testing, making that sure everything is playable, the map has enough houses, etc.
2. The large lot was originally intended for community lot for Pets expansion. I'm sorry that there are no big lots, I just don't find any point in them.))
3. I'm working on one now, trying some new tricks.
Merit Not in all, but in most (except small starters for 2 people). I usually play with Nraas Story Progression, so that's important. It is usually stated in the description of the house wether it has nursery or not.

The world is superb, not of lag.
I like job to give an ambience for the Community places
The world created by you but the world makes for me héhé!

thats okay i like how the suburb is now. oh but if your could answer one thing for me. In the industrial zone there are two large empyt blocks. One of them keeps coming up with "unroutable terrian" or "can't place on road". Do you know anyway around that? I would really love to put some my apratments in there to go with the rest of them.

Hey, I tried downloading this and the first file seems to be corrupted. I had a friend on an entirely different computer try and they could not get it to work either. We even tried creating the sims3pack from it and using that, with no luck. Does this mean the file is corrupted or should I try again another day? (And we did both try redownloading the file, multiple times. No luck.)

EDIT: Renaming the files worked - I missed that post on page 2. World is working fine now.

This was very helpful. I hadn't realized the rar files had different numbers after the Miuki part. Taking those off made the filenames all the same (save for the part0x), and allowed it to be extracted successfully. Thanks!

Hello Miuki!

First of all, your Aspen Islands world is the most beautiful world I've seen so far... and the only one I'm looking forward to play at the moment.

I've been experiencing an issue with it though: I usually use awesomemod for progression, but since you mentioned you didn't put cribs in every house because you use Twallan's Story Progression, I decided to give it a try as well. Unfortunately there seems to be some conflict between the most recent Story Progression update (for patch 1.26) and your world.

If I use SP in your world, I don't get every option usually available to configure (for instance, romance options, to set marriage names). This doesn't happen with any other custom worlds I tried when trying to troubleshoot; only happened with Aspen Islands.

I know a lot of effort went into this project, and I appreciate it... but I fear that since it's giving me issues from the start with this mod in particular, maybe some bits of the mod itself got "trapped" in the file. I'm sorry, I' not very technical.

Could you please look into this?

icnitos As I've stated in the main post, the file was created with LN, so I tested it using way older Twallan's SP. Now, I play with the same file patched up to 1.24 and have seen no issues so far. The mod could not transfer with the file, it's clean, contains EA stuff only.
I'm afraid it's the latest patch problem, I'll test it when my copy of Pets arrives, I didn't update the game yet (love my CC too much). I'll investigate it as soon as I can. May I ask, except Twallan's Mod, did you have any issues so far? And, do you own Pets?

Yes I deleated all the trees. I even checked to see i it was an error that sometime shappends with the worlds created by ea. I placed smaller lots then reloaded (after deleating everything in that section) and still it came up as I coudln't place anything there.
