You accept, surprised nobody took the offer before. It is an easy way to earn some cash, right? Now you just have to keep an eye on an old shop with dirty windows during the weekends. Wait, was this really a good idea? You can't even see through the windows...

One day, while you were pressing your face against the window in hope of seeing something, the owner came out and wanted to talk to you. Now you work in the shop. It's your job to clean everything except for the windows, polish the old wooden staircase leading straight into the wall, pick up the broken jars and whatever disgusting things they contained, talk to an old skull named Murray, throw out old candy and listen to stories about pirates told by the cashier with the eyepatch. It's very weird, but the pay is better and you get some free candy.

One time you cleaned it as thorough as possible, locked the door and made sure it stayed locked. The next time you unlocked it, the green oozing mess was back and the cashier complained about having to use the neighbours bathroom. Another giveaway was the skull actually answering you when you talked to him. Anyway, the owner is happy about your newfound insight and made you his assistant. You have to stay an hour longer just to keep him company, but you no longer have to clean anything. You just walk around the shop eating all the free candy you want and make sure nothing is tampered with. Sometimes you have to run an errand or make tea, but it doesn't happen very often. Apparently you don't know the secret about brewing good tea.
