Maxis Recolour
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
Download includes nine different "paintings" in the "Psimcasso's Scenic Circuits" frame from the High End Loft stuff pack. All of them are fully re-CAStable with four channels (three for the art and one for the frame), allowing you to customize the images to a pretty huge degree. For example, these two paintings, each shown in three different colorations:
The paintings are found in the "Decor -> Wall Hangings" section of the catalog, and are 900 simoleons each, just like the original. These are based on a picture from the High End Loft Stuff Pack, but this is a full clone, so it is
basegame compatible.
Attached screenshots include all nine paintings in different coloration examples, in-game shots of a couple paintings, and an RGB mask illustration. (In the RGB illustratrion, the alpha/fourth channel is displayed as the black and white checker -- basically it's just the frame.) Note that the "half-circle" painting is included in both left and right versions so you can pair them up if you wish.
If there's a demand for this kind of thing, I am more than happy to make some more in different sizes and designs. Just let me know in the comments if you would be interested.

Thanks to the creators of
S3PE and S3OC, and to BabaYaga for the pagoda from
this clutter pack. Thanks especially to Inge Jones for the
Texture Tweaker update that allows addition of a fourth channel, and to the MTS moderator who alerted me to the new functionality. (So awesome!)
All paintings were designed by me, using basic Photoshop brushes plus a couple of extras from brusheezy.com. One of the multipliers includes an extract from a drawing by Gabriel Orozco.
