3 New non D/R face archtypes

These face templates are non default/replacements, so they add new slots after the Maxis default faces, instead of forcing you to replace some. They are genetic, including the ears, passing on game selected features to the next generation. They will normally spawn random townies, but I have included a no random townies & NPC’s mod (noR/Tmod) with each archetype that will block that arch from the townie/NPC pool.

Diekatze‘s DBZ Piccolo

This is this is the face of Piccolo from Dragonball Z as created by Diekatze. I used the D/R templates that he included with his posting for the 8 faces, with minor changes to the foreheads of all except Piccolo (AM) and Piccolo Sr. (EM), which are unchanged. I also shrank the child’s ears a little. I thank Diekatze for allowing me to use her templates, and to make minor changes to minimize an inheritance problem that was noticed in the original templates (the long forehead in the toddlers and teen females, when matched with eyes set too high led to disappearing, or creepy eyes. This should be less of a problem now)
All CC in the pictures of Piccolo are from the original posting by Diekatze.

If you want to add a new Piccolo to your game with this templates DNA, first download and install Piccolo, the CC and meshes, (but not the D/R face template) to your Sims2 downloads folder. Find him in ‘choose an existing Sim’ in CaS, then find his face and click on it, it will be after the 28 Maxis slots in ‘hair and faces’ ‘faces’. His face will not change, but his DNA info will.

Zelolo

Zelolo is a blend/edit of the new Piccolo template and my Zelda template based on Gnatgosplat’s Zelda

Instalation and known issues

• You will find 2 files in each download, one will have arch_ before the template name, the other is the noRTmod. If you want random townies and NPC’s to use this face, then only put the arch file in your ‘EA Games/Sims2/downloads’ folder, if you do not want R/T’s and NPC’s using the named face then put both files in your downloads folder.
• As with all big eared faces, your Sim/object detail must be set on high for these to show up in your game.
• Adding or removing these or any other face templates has no effect on existing Sims in your game because Sims have their own set of face files for all ages after their creation - a Sim created as a teen will have face files (GMDC) for teen, adult, and elder as part of its file set. Babies inherit designated features from its parents face files, and should have no direct connection to the games face arches.
• As mentioned above there was a rare reported genetics issue with the original Piccolo template, I tried to minimize this by shortening the forehead in most ages/genders, but the eyes are still a little low, so avoid letting them make babies with Sims with unusually high set eyes, or make sure in Sim PE that if Piccolo’s brows are inherited that the eyes are too.

• The normal skin tones are Louis-jw5 default/replacements.

• Hopefully the only other CC in the pictures are Piccolo’s skin tone and outfit available at MTS

AF faces = 571 vertices, 737 faces
all other faces = 521 vertices, 737 faces
