Mesh Recolour
This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
I have always hated the way the burglars dress in The Sims 2 since the day I got it... who honestly goes out to steal and puts on a black and white stripy jumper? Then, I remembered that this is also a career outfit for Criminal Sims, and with the monthly theme being "Work and Careers" I decided I'd had enough of this lunacy, so I used one of fanseelamb's amazing meshes to create an all-black burglar default replacement. I took the glove texture from one of the coats from the Seasons expansion pack and slapped them on (a good criminal doesn't leave fingerprints, after all!
This will only replace the adult male burglar outfit, not the female. I have play tested this, and when a male burglar finally arrived on my lot he was wearing this outfit, along with the awesome burglar beanie. This will also replace the career outfit for Sims in the Criminal career track. A big thank you to fanseelamb for the mesh. (Mesh included - and the original downloads are here and here.) Don't forget to press the Thanks button! ![]() Additional Credits: I'd like to thank le-plat-du-jour for their amazing tutorial. 413 people have said thanks to w_sims for this download.
