When Hunter E. Cottoneye isn't hunkering down in his Riverview bunker, he's off preparing for December 2012 on his own private island somewhere south of Sunset Valley.
Hunter had some extra special materials constructed just for this type of catastrophic event, and his new hideout, plated with these amazing metalloid textile patterns, should be able to withstand any apocalypse. The new textiles: 1. Every Day is Like Sunday 2. Come Armageddon 3. Oh So Very Morrissey Armageddon and Sunday have three recolorable/blendable channels. Oh So Very Morrissey has three recolorable channels and one base channel. Every Day is Like Sunday, on the basement wall: Come Armageddon on the super secret sub-sub-sub basement wall: You can get some interesting effects with Oh So Very Morrissey, depending upon the wall you apply it to: The patterns look especially nice on metal/concrete objects or surfaces where a grungy, distressed industrial style is needed. In the thumbnails at the bottom of the page, you can see a preview of what the patterns look like recolored and on various items, such as the steam punk door from the Sims 3 Store. The patterns were play tested on a fully-patched base game and a game full of expansions and stuff packs. Works with 1.33 and 1.36 patches, and probably others. You can find Every Day is Like Sunday and Come Armageddon in the Metals category in CAS. You can find Oh So Very Morrissey in the Abstract section. Custom Content: The end table, by me. Tools used: TSRW, S3PE, Sims 3 Pack MultiInstaller, Photoshop 6.0 and The Gimp Thanks to: Delphy, Inge & Peter Jones, Armiel for Builder's Island, Hysterical Paroxysm for her tutorials on pattern making. Warning: Corrugated metal textile not suitable for infant bedding! Additional Credits: Thanks to http://www.photoshopbrushes.com for his royalty-free Photoshop 6.0 brushes. I used a few while creating these textures. 62 people have said thanks to kithri for this download. For more information about this creator and their policies or details, click here. Screenshots
