Mod Updated to 1.1 - Changelog:
  • Added Genie and Plantsim to the possible occult pool;
  • Fixed ghosts being born in human form;
  • When born ghosts, the death type will be random for each baby;
  • Polish, Chinese and Russian localizations (Thanks to Domon0310, egureh and TeaWitch!)

Adds a little more excitement for the Supernatural enthusiast.

When your sim have birth during the full moon, at night, the birth now will have a chance of being a supernatural one.
That means the newborn will be assigned a random supernatural type if so.

  • Possible types: Ghost, Werewolf, Fairy, Witch, Vampire, Mermaid (If you have Island Paradise installed), Genie (If you have Showtime) and PlantSim (If you have University)
  • Multiple babies will have the same supernatural type chosen
  • It'll not alter the offspring of supernatural couples
  • The mod comes in four flavors, altering the chance of the supernatural birth - 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% - it can be easily tuned by editing the XML file on the package
  • It's localized on these languages: English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese(PT/BR), Spanish, Chinese, Russian and Polish - If your language is not on this list, don't worry, the message will be shown in english!

Please give feedback! It's my first pure scripting mod, so bugs are not unexpected and suggestions are welcome!

Should work with 1.63 to 1.67 versions of the game.
I'm afraid there's no incompatibility with other mods, as it does not replace anything in the game. Warn me if it's causing you trouble!

Thanks to:
  • Simlogical for the S3PE
  • Huge thanks to CmarNYC for helping me when I was stuck
  • Translators: Louis Cavalcante, Domon0310, Egureh and TeaWitch
  • My friends at the TH3 S1MS group (<3)
  • MrsNervousSubject for correcting the english text

Okay...first, i love this mod. Thanks a ton for making it. Second...the babies, if multiples will NOT all be the same supernatural state. I just ended up with quads for whatever reason. Game thought it would be funny i guess. Idc. Three were werewolves and the other was greyish in my portrait panel. So i got them all home, unpacked them from that bassinet thing and the odd baby was a ghost type. I don't usually play with them so i looked it up... i had a baby that died from being buried alive. First, i didnt even know that was a desth state as i avoid the interactive professions in my style of playing. Second, it was rather depressing and caught me totally off guard. Third, it was new and something that never happened to me before, so it made it slightly awesome. But is deff a trigger warning for some people. Just a heads up. Thanks again to the original modder, i do really enjoy this mod and it is no fault of yours that my ghost rolled this particular death.

I really love this mod cause it changes the style of gameplay a lot! It allows even an ordinary couple to be the parent of a supernatural infant. Very cool! Thank you!

Great! Now I don't have to extra edit a male Sim before getting a female Sim pregnant and could end up having a surprise supernatural type upon birth!

I really really like this mod, it adds a really nice touch to my legacy. Had two births at the full moon, resulting in one werewolf and one genie. I will say that I agree with princesslilian with babies being born as ghosts is a tad morbid; maybe others don't mind it as much but I can see why she doesn't like it XD Still, absolutely brilliant mod, love it to bits and will be trying to get more babies born on the night of the full moon and see what happens Thank you so much for your work :D

Good mod! I agree when people say babies being born as ghosts is a bit too dark for some; however, I don't mind it. Still, I think you should add a separate flavor for babies being born as ghosts.
