I love this mod! Always hated the clot of Sims when some fool started with the instrument in public or at parties. Also, I am only patched up to 1.55 but it still works in my game.

When one must, one can.

Thank you for this great idea.
At the same time I believe that very skilled musicians, regardless of instrument, would attract people's attention when playing. (I remember that in a big street of the city where I live, an amazing drum player started playing. Not only did he attract every body's attention but he got loads of tips. People would stop walking, talking etc and every body here, including me, stopped and watched). So do you think it would be possible, to block the auto-watch for musicians with skills below 6 or 7 but unblock it for musicians with skills above that?

Thank you for you input but while that does sound like a good idea I'm afraid something like that would require scripting, which is beyond my abilities.
If someone else knows how to do this they are more than welcome too

Love this! But would it be possible to make it so that townies will still stop and watch (for tipping purposes) when on a community lot? My biggest issue is my household hovering when one them is trying to practice, but would hate to lose that potential income of playing in the park

Thank you so much. I get annoyed when my Sim would forget about eating and just watch my musicians.

Instead of taking the interaction out completely, why not just lower the advertisement for the actions/objects? After all, in college, I don't mind having people who like to listen to my music... HOWEVER.... They watch them until they drop.
