Seeing that starters are what most people search, I want to finish the Word Adventures series with one. My goal was to create a starter fully decorated and fully furnished costing less than 10.000. I've used a lot of buydebug objects and some community items with cost 0$ to achieve that and have some extra cash for things like a dishwasher, a guitar, a fireplace, etc... and leave the family with money enoug to get what they need or fancy.
So your sim will find a house with two rooms: the big one combines bedroom (with a really awful bed), kitchen, dining and living, and the other one is the bathroom.
There's a firepit in the front yard and a barbeque, a picnic table, a camping tent (for guests, woohoo or having more than one sim in the house) and a dresser in the backyard.
Back in the days it was a small and picturesque cabin, but years have passed and now it's just a rusty and crusty shanty.
The lot is sim tested and everything seems to work fine, and all you'll need is accesible.
The terrain painting fades on the edges, so it should blend nicely in the world you choose.
There's no custom or store content.
Lot Size: 15x10
Lot Price: 9.997 / 6.658

IMPORTANT
Issues about stuff I use for building and decorating:
You don't need any of these for the lot to show as depicted, but still you should know certain things:
Curtains! Stop Snapping to that Wall!!
The curtains will stay in place, but if you try to move the ones that aren't in a wall you won't be able to place them back unless you use this mod by Huge Lunatic.
Remove stencils/overlays
The objects with stencils removed with this mod by velocitygrass will stay that way unless yo CAST them with EA's presets.
Decorator's Best Friend
Objects in odd positions are probably moved, tilted or turned with this mod by misukisu (just decoration objects, nothing your sims need to use). If you move them they will return to their original position. There's no undo, you'll have to place them back again using the mod or exiting without saving.
This two have no issues, I just want to thank them.

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
